Titanic. People are risking their lives to find this treasure and the old slut had it on her the entire time. And then she throws it in the ocean? She could have supported her family for generations but she drops it in the water to pay homage to some guy she knew for one day.

But that's just the cheapest ending of all time. It's like the director said, "Hey, do you not care about the characters? Well frick you, here's 9/11, something you do care about." No warnings going into the movie about this.
Just imagine a mother takes her kids to an afternoon at the movies, and oh here's where Dad died on that horrible day 8 years ago. Real classy. Millions of people know someone who was personally killed in those towers, and they didn't think that people wouldn't be outraged by this?
