Although a great movie I too was disappointed about the ending of Gangs of New York.
I was ready for an epic battle where Leo finally gets redemption and proves his worth like the man his father was.
Instead he got a cheap kill.

Two of the best final scene song choices ever. Heat was incredible, and the "Join the Club" episode of the Sopranos is one of the best hours of TV I've ever.
Who knows though...that Josh Holloway guy thinks I'm a moron because I "Didn't Get" gangs of ny ending. Tsk, tsk...

That whole movie was a crime against humanity but yea the shark roaring like a lion was terrible.
I think he was making a joke, because the entire movie was terrible and capped with an equally terrible ending. Thats how I took it and laughed.
