This thread needs more Wet Bandits.
They were great but unless they could count as one person then I’d have a hard time putting them up there.
I kind of view Headley Lamar and Taggert the same way. The two of them together were great antagonists but neither would be great enough on their own.
ETA: maybe it’s a Mel Brooks thing bc this comedy antagonist trio was pretty outstanding in Space Balls

Yeah, I was really counting them as one entity, they combined were the comedy antagonists.

I still can't believe they got away with that. It was so out of leftfield but helped define Healy as a clueless scumbag in the movie.
True. That would NEVER happen today...which is so pathetic.
But maybe the most underrated line of the entire movie is when Healy is playing football with Warren and the rest of the handicapped people who were part of the "The Neary Center for Exceptional People". Healy is kicking their arse up and down the field and then scores a touchdown, spikes the ball and yells "Exceptional my arse!!"
To this day I still lose it at that comment. So completely offensive and out of nowhere.

Smalls will always be the GOAT in this category, but you’re leaving out two of my favorites, played by the same actor.

I mean he is a GOAT prick antagonist but he really wasn’t all that funny. I was going for antagonist that were actually hilarious and not just a gigantic prick.

Having a hard time displacing a lot that are already named, but honorable mention must go to Mugatu. He did invent the piano key tie, after all.

Starting to think we need to do a couple additional Mt. Rushmores.
Mt. Rushmore of Antagonist Ensemble in a Comedy
Mt. Rushmore of A-Hole Antagonist in a Comedy

The scene where he’s talking about “working with retards” will never not make me laugh
The quote "Exceptional, my arse" as he stiff arms one of the kids to the ground was the best part.

White Goodman
Tony Perkis
Retirement home guy from Happy Gilmore
Ben Stiller = GOAT comedy villain
