I'm in the same boat
as this. I think they both die if he gets on. He briefly tries at first an it wobbles and I think he knew right away it wasn't going to work. Although it was always frustrating she says "I'll never let go Jack" and then immediately lets go. I mean I wouldn't have wanted to hold onto a dead body until I was rescued either, but I don't think I could let someone sink to the bottom of the ocean.

Not sure what it says about me that I wouldn’t have known who 2 of the 4 were without the info (Umbridge and Wetmore). And I haven’t seen Cuckoo’s Nest in 25 years or more.

I think she more meant that she'd never let go of him in her heart/never forget him. I don't think she meant it literally. But I've only seen the movie once about 10-12 years ago so my memory is a little hazy.

It was obviously an ending to show she was never about the money which is why she left Billy Zane (he's a cool guy - Zoolander reference) but he actually is a really cool guy, met him once.
But if she really was about true love....move the frick over!
She's a selfish, renegade princess in her own narcissistic eyes. I don't know why they wrote her so poorly.

I mean, Harry Potter. It's just fantasy. Nurse Ratched was based on a real person... As Ken Kesey wrote the Novel:
Working the night shift at the Menlo Park Veterans' Hospital. I feel like a lot of people probably didn't see One Flew as the first time I saw this thread Ratched immediately came to mind. Commodus is a great option though, but I'm surprised how easily he's winning.
