Of all time, without a doubt Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

This. Could never have imagined it being so terrible considering how amazing the other 3 were (even Temple of Doom).

This is the correct answer.

The only thing close would be The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

I'll be downvoted to oblivion for this, but I didn't see Animal house or Fast Times at Ridgmont High until I was an adult. I was unimpressed by both, aside from Phoebe Cates.

The Hobbit movies for me. I love the book so much, and really really wanted to love this entire series. It had some absolutely fantastic scenes, and I don't hate them, but I simply can't bring myself to rewatch the Battle of Five armies. I'd rather watch the cartoon from the 80's.

I've heard there's a fancut of the three movies into one 6 hour movie that is really good, so I'm gonna give that a shot if I ever get the urge.

The Hobbit hands down. I'm a huge LOTR fan and the Hobbit was easily my favorite book as a kid. I didn't finish the series after the first one, it was total garbage.

Battleship. Thought it'd be cool but the cheesiness was just too much.

Transformers. It wasn't terrible, but as usual Michael Bay just can't help himself and let the lame human storylines get in the way.

I have sooooo many questions.

You had high expectations for a movie based off of a board game?

You watched Transformers and the criticism you have is that there was too much character development?

Not the MOST disappointment but a recent one for me:

Fight Club

I finally watched it this weekend after seeing so many people praise it in this board. Damn, what a let down. The terrific acting somewhat saved a ridiculous and predictable storyline.

Let the downvotes rain o'er me!

My expectations for Battleship was based purely on the trailers. Thought it'd be a fun alien invasion movie. It wasn't.

Yes the problem with Transformers is the excessive time spent on the cheesy uninteresting humans. We're talking Michael Bay style character development, remember. Did you think anyone went in excited about the Shia-Megan Fox romance?

The Hobbit - after the masterpiece that the LotR trilogy was, this just fell flat

Guardians of the Galaxy - to this day I still think the praise heaped on it on this board is the longest running, best orchestrated long con troll job ever. Complete dreck.
