This. The Kat dynamic is interesting. If she is CIA or something similar she is going to want dirt on the Harrigans (Harry owes her two favors). If she works for a competitor then it will be insider information to beat them to the punch on business deals or set Conrad up to take the fall for something.
Also frick Maeve she is pure evil.

I knew I recognized her from something, but had to look it up. She was Helen Pierce in Ozark.
I kind of hope Kat is CIA.
It's weird hating Helen Mirren so much, but Maeve is just awful. As is Eddie. Now that I think about it, no one is really likeable except for Harry and maybe Seraphina. I still enjoy the show, though, it's really entertaining.

In addition to all the other positives, the casting of the show is great. It’s got Guy Ritchie’s fingerprints all over it. Maeve and Eddie are perfect.

Probably unpopular but I didn't love her character in the Red movies. I thought it was a little over the top and overacted. But then again, I guess there was no shortage of that from any of the characters in any of those movies.

I am solely cheering for Harry and Richie. Poor Richie man. He literally did nothing and he had his son and wife murdered. Hell he even tried to let the son being murdered go but dumbass Conrad and evil fricking Maeve made fricking war.
Think about this: Richie's son was murdered but he wa able to set it aside because he knew war was bad for business no matter how much it was desereved. While bitch arse Conrad went fricking nuclear because he didn't like the tone Richiw spoke in. Like how much more of a bitch can you be?
AND THEN Conrad had the audacity to be upset that Richie kidnapped Seraphina and Brendan. He acted like that was some out of no where retaliation. LIke dude, you killed his son and wife. OF COURSE he was going to retailate.
And don't get me started with how stupid Maeve is. She sells out her children in Antwerp and just TRUSTS that Richie will only kill the kid she says to kill. Like WTF Maeve? The only explanation here is that Maeve is the one that is already working with Richie and up to this point her goal was to get Conrad and the rest killed to get them out of Richies way.
Great show so far! I hope the Kat plot doesn't take away from what is a great base for a multi season show. I can't stand when shows go the government conspiracy route so I hope she doesn't work for the CIA.

I agree, that's part of why he's a bitch. He should 1) have his woman in control and 2) he should have ripped her a new one and made some sort of example out of her by making sure everyone knows that she no longer gives orders.
The harrigans are also stupid because they don't seem to have any actual plan. They just blew up the car and ran and hid. They should have had hits planned on many, if not all of Richies top guys. But they seem to not know what the next step should be.

Who do we think is the rat working with Richie? I would think potentially Paul, but I also think he was the one who planted the bomb for Maeve.

I'm wondering if it's Kev. He's always been the one that was always anti-war with Ritchie and we just assumed that was because he wasn't crazy but maybe there was another reason.
Plus, while the whole "dying empire" has been a theme referenced by a few characters, Kevin was one of the people that brought it up, so maybe he sees (or thinks he sees) the handwriting on the wall and is making moves to go his own way.
Harry seems to actually like Kevin so Freddie revealing that Kevin is the insider and he knows it would probably cause Harry to change course and chuck off off the parking garage like he did.
For the record, my accuracy on predictions for shows is in the neighborhood of ten percent so take it for what it's worth. I'm probably way off base and it's actually Maeve, who is the obvious pick.

This was my initial thought as well and given how close Harry and Kevin are growing up, good chance they're involved together to some degree.
Harry seems to be sneaky ambitious and Kevin just kind of hates the family and is traumatized.

Don't forget the whole thing with his dad fricking his wife and Eddie possibly being his brother instead of his son. That would be prime motivation to say frick the whole family.
