I wouldn't call Harley a C-list character she's one of DC's biggest names right now

My money is on Black Widow and it won't be close.
You might lose that bet. Birds of Prey is at least somewhat interesting. Black Widow is just boring as shite, and I have no desire to see it. ScarJo is the only reason that it's happening.

DC should have been better all along. Just by virtue of having Batman and Superman, the 2 most iconic superhero’s ever.

Non comic book fans have known of them forever while the MCU characters were relativity lesser known.

But MCU knew how to tell the story and did something incredible.

The DC fils are just crap, the most important hero’s aren’t even remotely likable

Superman is a boring character in today’s generation. Batman is great as we saw with the dark knight trilogy.

DC films are pathetic. I watched Shazam over the weekend, and as much as I wanted to like it, it was bad. There were some funny moments, but Jesus that would be the worst marvel film to date. And it’s probably in the top 3 for recent DC films.

It’s embarrassing.

Shazam was great and would be at least in the middle of the pack of MCU movies

Damn. I’m a comic nerd, so I’ll enjoy any movie with superheroes in it. But objectively, the acting was horrendous and the dialogue was cringeworthy at times. The little crippled kid was funny and the grown up Shazam was good as well. Everything else was cliche and gross.

Shazam was reasonably entertaining, but really not memorable at all.

Aquaman, also entertaining, mostly riding on Momoa's charisma.

Wonder Woman, both the movie and Gadot's character, is worthy of MCU comparisons. Maybe the MCU can work a trade, get WW in return for Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and a supporting player to be named later (just a little sports humor)

Suicide Squad sucked, and Birds of Prey might be as bad.

The trailers look bad but I'm hearing it's pretty entertaining. It's apparently a hard R. People are going to be a bit shocked.

And has been since well before Suicide Squad was released.

OP article is a trash sandwich. Neither company is making films I would consider to be high quality, but DC has put out some monster garbage where the worst MCU films have just been kinda meh.

If DC can put out super hero movies that are good and all look and feel different (something Marvel either can't achieve or has decided it doesn't want), I'll be happy.

As it stands, they've released several crap blockbusters with their biggest properties, a Marvel movie in Shazam, a silly cartoon in Aquaman, a pastiche of classics that is afraid to embrace its comic book nature while it also incoherently and stupidly inserts tons of references to it with Joker, and a pretty good action/comic book yarn in Wonder Woman. I think I need to see more before I award them the idiotic metaphorical upper hand.

So you're saying CA: Winter Soldier and Thor: Ragnarok have the same exact look and feel?
