I love LOST, but watching the show (and reading all of the comments on here) truly make my head feel like it's about to explode.
The only thing I can compare it to is the movie Primer ... both Lost and Primer give me a headache if I think about the shows too much.

Did anybody else think we would get a little more from this episode.....I also thought the scene with Locke and Jack towards the end was pro....but I called Sayid coming back as Jacob as soon as he "died" (of course we don't know that yet but I think it is a legit theory).....seemed like this episode was a little too predictable IDK......still can't wait til next week

Still trying to figure out the Sayid thing. Jacob has been said to be Chist, but Sayid is looking that part now. (maybe jacob took over his body...don't know)
- First of all, wondering what fate awaited him in the afterlife
- Then the Baptism
- Then the carrying off the cross (watch the clip, he was sprawled out in a cross)
- The death
- The resurrection

Why wasn't Shannon on the plane? When she was the first time.

Noticed that also.

but the whole "I tortured countless people, I'm a monster" thing doesn't exactly fit with the lore

Pretty sure Shannon wasn't their because the actress did not want to agree to any contract terms.

I think at the eleventh hour, her and the studio couldn't come to terms

I knew Sayid wasn't dead whenever Miles responded "Nothing". He was saying that Sayid wasn't telling him anything.

We got a lot of answers in this ep, but you have to dig a little.
For example, we now know pretty certainly that Richard was a prisoner (or at least in chains) on the Black Rock.
He was filling the role Kate filled on 815, and Sayid filled on 316. So, it makes sense to infer that there was also a person with a musical instrument, a late arriver...basically the required conditions for crashing on the Island.
That's a big deal.

Ricardus was a slave?
But a slave to what.... How about this as a little food for thought
1 Enoch and Jubilees agree with the Scriptures which show that a portion of the fallen angels are currently restrained in a spiritual prison called "the Abyss" (Luke 8:31):
JUDE 6 And the angels who did not keep their own position, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains in deepest darkness for the judgment of the great Day. (NRSV)
II PETER 2:4 For indeed God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down in chains of darkness into the low regions and delivered them to be kept for the judgment of torment. (Magiera NT Peshitta translation)
I PETER 3:19 . . . He went and preached to the spirits in prison, 20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water. (NKJV)

when Juliet said "it worked", what was she referring to? the bomb going off or the timeline restting? bc theres no way of her knowing if the time reset or not...

I have a feeling at the end of this show I won't be satisfied and realize I've wasted alot of my time.

Not sifting through 24 pages so what is the theory on why were are seeing 2 "concurrent" timelines? The island under water? A lot of things being different for those on the plane?

Also thought they made it clear Jacob was in the cabin all along since it was surrounded by ashes every time we saw it.
