Only around the mid-00s and especially the 08 recession did chains start selling cheap pizza. There also weren't places like Little Ceasars and Domino's attacking the college/lower income markets like they do today.

Yeah, Dominos 5-5-5 Deal changed everything. Went to town on that while in college.

BTW definitely recommend watching Home Alone with a live orchestra. Watched it last night and man it’s a great experience. Totally different and fun way to watch it!

How could he still hear the gunshots from the tv after he ran completely around the house to his car?

So i just picked up on this Saturday. When Kevin is playing the "angels" movie, he has house speakers setup on the kitchen table.

This has probably been brought up but in HA1, they oversleep and are late for the flight but they have an airport shuttle pick them up to bring them. They would have had to schedule that shuttle in advance to pick them up at the time they were wanting to originally leave for the flight. I don't understand why the shuttle guy would just hang out outside that whole time until the family finally realized they needed to get out without going and knocking/ringing the door bell and getting someone's attention.

The shuttle drivers do ring the doorbell. That's what wakes the mother and father up.

I just figured they would have done that earlier or are you saying the shuttle guys were on time? Seems they would be cutting it close already at that point even prior to them having to get chaotically packed and into the shuttle.

So I know Peter Mcalister can sometimes be mistaken as the only sane/considerate one in the house, though I'd argue that he is aloof at best and all of the chaos could come down on him for not maintaining control of his household.

Even still, how on God's green earth does he think it's a good idea to put passports in the microwave to dry off? Passports are complex technological devices that contain adhesives for visas, bindings, thermochromatic ink, and sensitive holograms that store biographical data. The film should have ended when they arrived at airport security.

My high school swim team used to go to someone's house after weekend meets, get a shitload of 5-5-5 pizzas, and LAN together 4 Xboxes for 16-player Halo 2.

Great times. One of the best team bonding exercises.

The shuttle guys likely have no idea what time they were planning to fly out. They just know to be at a house at a time.

I would estimate it taking approximately 30-45 minutes for the family to get up and get dressed and out the door. If they would have been ready to leave as the vans were pulling up then they would not be running through the airport. They'd have 30-45 minutes to sit and drink Starbucks and munch on some overpriced gourmet popcorns.

the warming drawer of an oven would have been a better choice for sure... hell the clothes dryer would likely be safer than the microwave
