If you look in the background to the right you'll see a relatively new crib with toys. Since Kevin is the baby of the family you have to assume that is his and his family has been isolating him in the attic as punishment for years and years.
Also, how weird is it that he a) bought fabric softener b) equates that with grocery shopping staples like eggs and milk and c) no one in his family thinks it's odd that he mentions buying it with the others?

I just had a revelation. The original home alone trip wasnt paid for by peter mcallister, but by the brother of the family. Holy shite, for years i thought it was the freaking dad.

They mention in home alone 2 if he is back from Paris he'd go to his mansion in New York........its being renovated during Christmas....Do you know how much that cost during the holidays.

OK, when Harry and Marv return to the McCallister house after almost hitting Kevin with the van. Kevin pretends that whole family is back by blasting "Rocking around the Christmas tree " and puppeteering several full grown mannequins.

When the bellman enters the room late at night in home alone 2...Kevin wakes up turns on the shower rigs the blow up clown with string all in the amount of time of maybe 1 minute to play the talkboy seen with his uncle......

I love how in HA2, Kevin's parents are talking to the cop in Florida and when asked if Kevin had ever been in a situation wheee he's home alone they were like "oh no...no, never" and then had to have it pried out of him.
