I don't get the Jackie Brown hate this board has developed. I've always thought of it as one of his best.

If Deathproof isn't in consideration, this is my pick.

Probably the most Tarantinoesque movie Tarantino has made.

I would think the board would weigh more towards the really liking it side than hate.

I didn't care for Hateful 8. The 'dingus' scene wasn't necessary and the ending sucked. Death Proof was just OK - wayyyy too much unnecessary dialogue, and some unnecessary characters (like the lame guys trying to get laid). The others I all enjoyed immensely.

I've always been a big Pam Grier fan so Jackie Brown, to me, is a great film. Deathproof is cheesy grindhouse schlock and not really a complete Tarantino movie. Inglourious Basterds is probably my least favorite.

If death proof doesn't count, it's Hatefull Eight by a landslide.

.... End thread

Inglourious Basterds. Stupid made-up name, revenge porn type movie, and whathisface isn't as good as he thinks. He giggles too much for any villain. I never saw Django and Hateful 8 because i figured the guy has lost his mojo and this thread kind of proves it.

Even if you didnt like the movie all that much, most people would still admit that he was one of the better villains in recent memory. Giggling or not.

Not really. It looks like most people didnt like H8, but Django was really popular and if you're done with his movies then you're probably missing out bc his next one is probably going to be really really good.

Im in the boat of really liking Jackie Brown. i think it is his best (more traditional) movie.

My least favorite is Pulp Fiction. Downvote all you want but I never cared for it.

I didn't like Kill Bill 1 but really liked Kill Bill 2.

Just to be upfront about it, I don't love any Tarantino movie.

That said, I think Jackie Brown is his best.

The Hateful 8 is pretty irritating. At the end I find myself wondering why it was worth sitting through.
Inglorious Basterds tries so hard to be meaningful, but I have a problem taking anything other than Christoph Waltz and Melanie Laurent seriously (I know much of it is meant to be comic, that's not what I mean by "seriously"). I agree with the above poster who likened it to revenge porn.

If Deathproof and Grindhouse aren't included, then my vote is Hateful Eight.
