the ex wife is just a really annoying Beth wannabe. If not for her willingness to be naked on camera, she could just go away and not be missed.
Demi's fake southern accent is just distracting. They should have just let her use her normal voice.

Billy Bob being in the hospital is 100% being reported as well.
that's 2 from "technically" 2 separate incidents in the same day.

These shows are pretty easy to turn your brain off and enjoy but yeah this was a pretty big wtf moment of them just lounging around a couple of doors down and acting shocked when BBT shows up.
I also hoped the ex-wife would've stayed with the dude she was divorcing. Small sample sizes she's fine but I've really grown to dislike the character, the whole crazy/hot thing just gets tiring pretty quickly.

I kinda agree. She is great playing crazy hot middle aged mom, but less is more with that character. Having her pop up now and then I think would be better. With that said, I can’t believe I’m asking for less Ally Larter.

I actually don't mind her that much. Obviously she's smoking hot, but her interactions with BBT always tend to make me laugh. I find the daughter to be much more of a nothing character with nothing to do.

I'll take the widow over the daughter any day.
It was totally absurd that those guys would just be hanging out in the camp after they beat a dude damn near to death. It is seriously lazy writing.
You can't tell me that the community which is heavily based on oilfield work, does not have lawyers ready to go whenever they hear about a fatality. Those three widows would be lawyered up within hours.

As ridiculous as some of the show is, I still like it a lot. Pretty much just because of BBT. He fits this character perfectly.
*Demi looked pretty old a couple shows ago when they showed her after she got out of the pool. No makeup.

That boy looks like his parents would be brother and sister or at the very least cousins. He has that look that inbred kid from deliverance did.

His mom and sister are smokeshows and he looks like... that. Did they say he's adopted or something and I missed it?

He’s also a collegiate wrestler and is able to pull a hot widow days after her husband was killed in an explosion that some say he caused.

Speaking of which...Although I am enjoying Billy Bob's performance on the show his looks and makeup have been bothering me a bit. Why does his beard look pencilled-in coal black and his hair looks dyed blond? I find it distracting. His beard looks like that old Clown Emmet Kelly. Just distracting a bit. Strange choice.

Yet somehow it’s easy to give these shows this creative license because for some reason it is still entertaining.
They are like a series version of an 80's action movie. Plot holes abound, iffy dialogue, but hot chicks, badass main character and some action. I like this show better than Yellowstone so far.
