Billy Bob is aiming to be Nick Saban in Hallmarks "A College Gameday Christmas" with the amount of times he says "Aight"

No, he was angry because the shipper sent all the pipe together and it wasn’t sorted out. He was pissed that it would take time to sort it all. So he climbed on top and started stomping like a child. …and now he’s dead.
I know that was his explanation/defense. I’d like to hear from the shipper.

Imagine how uneducated you have to be to not know it’s your money the whole time. Now imagine all those people on Poli.
I’m sick of his daughter unclothed schtick. It’s forced in there and the half assed jokes about not being able to do legal work while she’s running around the house half naked were old episodes ago.

yeah, their TRIR just in these few episodes is already absurd even without the fatalities.

Her wardrobe for the show is down to just that one bikini at this point.

Occasionally his "Aight" gives me Jeremy Pruitt flashbacks (as a Vol fan).

Let's be honest. The only thing that may have gotten reported is the fatalities. I know it's a TV show, but there would've been a serious investigation after that accident had been notified. They just reworked the well and went about their business.
Other incidents are getting paid out and hope that there isn't a whisteblower.

If she had a little more woman on her, I'd still have gotten sick of it, just an episode later. I know I'm the odd one out, but seeing Ali Larter almost showing her goods was better than actually seeing them (not that they're bad at all, but there is an art to the tease.)
Juxtapose the daughter vs. the absolute smoke show (Genesis Rodriguez) that is on Lioness and how that is portrayed.

So now we are up to 4 fatalities? In a matter of days? There's no way this company can stay in business. OSHA would be swarming.
Also, why was it necessary for BBT to come to the pad for a problem with a pipe delivery?
There's no way the young widow wouldn't have lawyers flocking to her right now. Or at a minimum, somebody would tell her to not sign anything without talking to a lawyer first. The corporate lawyer speech was cool but ain't no way they are gonna strong arm those families into signing anything.
This is my first Sheridan show. They seem a little juvenile or low brow

The company may not be shut down, but you are 100% correct on the lawyers/payout situation.
The people at that mill in Louisiana that had an explosion got like 20 million each for the survivors and more for the families of the ones that didn't survive.
Noone is taking 500k for a fatality on a well.
But yeah, just watch for Billy Bob one liners and don't overthink the rest. If it's like Yellowstone it's only gonna get less believable, that's probably where the cartel stuff is headed.

It’s almost as if a man wrote the show.

He’s really good at making shows you want to hate-watch. He will build an empire on them.

Watched all five episodes thus far and I’m not sure I can stomach any more. If Yellowstone is anything like this, then I’m glad I never tried watching it.

Yeah it’s a cheap attempt at the Yellowstone formula. So far the wise sayingisms of BBT is in line with Costner and the wild/strong/unpredictable woman Larter is the “Beth”. Has a son who is in relationship with the Indian people or in this case, the Mexican. I could point out more parallels, but I’m getting bored as I type.

It is bizarre to me that companies are not required to carry workers comp in TX and workers can opt out of it (at the beginning of employment) if they choose. TX is the only state that allows that, usually when only one state out of 50 does something the answer is always Louisiana.
