I will admit I've been looking forward to this because....dinosaurs.
Then I read this description of the Disneyfication of Bryce Howard's role
and my looking forward took a major slow down.
Dinosaur rights? Really?
They did a first showing in Germany. Why?
New to the series is DeWanda Wise
The trailer, however, makes me smile.

And the first comment to the trailer:

Howard will reprise her role as Claire Dearing - a dinosaur rights activist and the former park operations manager of Jurassic World.

DeWanda is a newcomer to the franchise, and will grace the big screen as Kayla Watts, a pilot that helps the group travel.

I’ve determined regardless of how good or bad the script is, I’m just gonna enjoy the visuals and seeing the OG 3 back together for the first time in 30 years

Less offensive than the entire theme of anti-GMO Ludditism that has been at the heart of the entire series since the original novel.

How heavy is Bryce these days?? Seems like her carbon footprint might be a problem.

So this board is now to the point that it's blaming Disney for shite in movies they didn't even make?
Also, her character was a dinosaur activist in the 2nd movie. It was pretty central to her character. Not sure how you missed it.

As long as I’ve got a face, she has a place to sit. So her weight is irrelevant as far as I’m concerned.

Did you not watch the last movie or something?

Every human death in this movie is on the little clone girl who decided to let the dinos go in the last movie. I mean, she is legit a mass murderer.

Not every woman needs to be a bean pole. Bryce has looked great at every weight.
Nobody makes fun of Chris Pratt for being funny fat guy the most of his career.

Enjoyed the trailer that played before Maverick
They need to end this trilogy on a high note because fallen kingdom was awful

I still fail to see how around 50 dinosaurs somehow managed to spread all over the globe to the point that they are threatening humanity's existence. I mean, every red-blooded American with a gun would have a dino-head over the mantle in a heartbeat.

Are you surprised from the trailers and the way Jurassic Park has always gone? The underlying theme of Jurassic Park has always been that the dinosaurs need to be treated with respect and admired from afar. This new entry will just circle that point real big, underline, highlight, and put it in big font for the dumb people who haven’t figured it out - like OP. PETA for dinosaurs has always been the obvious conclusion

Have you ever seen how big of a gun it takes to take down a rhino or an elephant? Now consider that large dinosaurs had far far thicker hides. Consumers couldn’t buy a gun big enough to take down a triceratops, brachiosaurus, or Trex

Pete postelwaith (sp) was an expert huntsmen and seemed convinced he could take one down with a double barrel shotgun in the lost world.
