BS, that was a frickin elephant gun shooting 50 caliber slugs, it wasnt a shotgun
and thats most likely the proper weapon for the T rex he was after, something like a velociraptor might only need a deer rifle or small caliber machine gun

It looks terrible and I will still watch it then come on here and complain. Rinse and repeat...

Have you ever seen how big of a gun it takes to take down a rhino or an elephant? Now consider that large dinosaurs had far far thicker hides. Consumers couldn’t buy a gun big enough to take down a triceratops, brachiosaurus, or Trex
That is not even including a raptor. No small town optometrist is ever going to be able to take down one on a Safari like they would a wildebeest. Raptors would be killing hundreds of people a day if they traveled to a densely populated area.

mean, every red-blooded American with a gun would have a dino-head over the mantle in a heartbeat.
Outside of that if the military made killing dinosaurs their focus I couldn’t imagine they wouldn’t get those numbers down quick.

You realize carnivorous animals don’t kill and eat every single animal they come across right?

We're talking about the raptors in the movie. If you're trying to be realistic in this discussion (dumb btw), why use a pic with no feathers?

Dinosaur rights? Really?
She ran a dinosaur rights activist group in the second movie. That was a major plot point, they tried to raise awareness for rescuing the dinosaurs by contacting all the senators. You either did not watch the last movie or just want to complain about something you deem to be "woke."
Also, as others have pointed out. This is a movie about dinosaurs that have been brought back to life, maybe take a step back and try to enjoy the movie for what it is.

i'm always amazed when people call action movies unrealistic and apply critical theory to it. the life that the people live in You've Got Mail or any other movie in NYC is completely untenable to 99% of the populace and the idea of a woman forgiving and ending up with somebody who purposely put her out of business is as unrealistic as people advocating for dinosaur rights.

The last movie was awful with dinosaur rights activists and cloned children but I’m still going to see this one because I love the franchise and I really want to see Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum come back

Also, her character was a dinosaur activist in the 2nd movie. It was pretty central to her character. Not sure how you missed it.
This. One of the (many) criticisms of that movie was that between the first and second film she went from a cold, corporate shill to a dino-animal rights activists while Pratt's character went from Raptor wrangler who deeply empathized with his animals to having to be begged and pleaded with to come save the dinosaurs at the beginning of the movie.

.700 Nitro Express
Might take a couple rounds, but it'll do the trick.
That being said, we're talking 50 dinosaurs, not 50,000.
They would last less than a day. Maybe 2 if there's a couple of those hybrid magical bullshite monster dinosaurs that require Owen on a motorcycle with his Raptor bros loaded out with cruise missiles and fricken laser beams.
The mosasaurus could present a challenge, but we have submarines that could obliterate that aquatic ex machina with a quickness.

I'm sorry, this is going to be the worst of the bunch, and the last one was atrocious.

T Rex you could for sure. I think that may have a lighter hide than an elephant or a rhino.

It has to be a decade after the second movie to have dinosaurs that widespread
