Damn, that is doing some work on Jeopardy.

That would be my luck. I might be worth a win or two in normal circumstances but I would finally try it and end up against somebody like this guy. They almost ought to let everybody have a shot against normal people but I guess the waiting line to get on is huge.

Unbelievable. It is going to be weird once he finally loses and people go back to winning with 15k or so. It will just seem so pedestrian.

Just curious, where did you get these odds from?

should get to a milly tomorrow. im all in for this continuing.

i was growing so fricking tired of the inept wagering. people would be late in DJ and not even bidding to win on a DD, it was fricking pathetic. hopefully james changes that dynamic once he's off the show as well.

It would be hard to go 417/434 with the 5 second clock on just basic questions. That’s ridiculous

Watched last night...the guy is freakin amazing and I'm sure Jeopardy is killing it the ratings.

He's on track to break the $2.5 million record in half the time.

The other players are playing for second place. There's a Louisiana gal on this Thursday. Cheering for her to get at least second.

Checking in to say thank you for the heads up a few weeks back. Have been recording and rewatching next day.

Dude is like a robot and once he gets going you can sense the other players forcing things and putting themselves in a bigger hole. It's damn entertaining to watch him win by $80k.

I was off yesterday so I finally got to watch him.

He won like $90,000 to $4,000 to $2,700 or something

I think I could beat him.

Guy is obviously well versed in Game Theory and is applying it to Jeopardy in ways we haven't seen before.

Asides from the usual positioning of the DD's, by going for highest value questions early he gives himself way more options.

More potential money to bet on DD's with. Also, even if he misses a 1K or 2K question, it blocks the opponents from potentially getting them, hence limiting their potential double up value.

He might be off to the best start yet today. Could be another record day.

ETA: That might be the easiest final I've ever seen.

Yeah, his two opponents capitulated, and were applauding him early in the second round.

His strategy is mathematically nearly perfect and aggressive; but the guy just knows the answers. It doesn't work for him otherwise. It's hard to imagine him losing a game any time soon.

The other two each were in the 15k range, which is perfectly acceptable. James had 118k. Final was very easy today.

Thought both rounds were relatively easy today as well.

Yesterday was much more difficult and the scores reflect ed it.
