He would be a good choice. Pretty good actor, hot name right now.

Interesting to see that the two supposed front runners are both really really tall. That's obviously something that Villeneuve was looking for for some reason

He's pretty famous at this point and one of the hotter names in hollywood, kinda hard not to know him if you're paying attention.

He's on Euphoria, he was in the Wuthering Heights adaptation with Margot Robbie, and he played Frankenstein's monster in the del Toro Frankenstein adaptation

Yeah I mean he's white hot right now. Those 3 projects are really big deals

I don't necessarily mind him as an actor. He's done well with Euphoria. I just don't like him for Bond.

Tall and gangly, Australian, and a voice that sounds like he has a perpetual sinus infection. His screen presence just isn't right for the role. Can you see him swagged out and delivering clever one-liners?

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic right now

But he has been on stuff for years, but just within the past year or so he's gotten to be the "hot name" in Hollywood

Tall

Calum Turner is the other frontrunner allegedly, so clearly DV is going for tall actors

Also I heard his british voice in a clip from Wuthering Heights and it sounded...normal? So I have no idea what you are talking about there

Serious.

WH grossed $241.7 million worldwide against an $80 million budget. In a genre that had largely been left for dead.

Euphoria is a huge TV show.

The Frankenstein movie was a big deal.

Wuthering Heights making so much money was a big deal for him.

They could do worse. I don't think the problem will be who plays 007 though. It will be the reimagined for a modern audience b.s.

That's his choice as director. I'm saying my personal preference and the general character has been portrayed as average height. Elordi is 3" taller than any previous Bond.

First, I'm never going to watch Wuthering Heights, second, he'd likely be the first multi-movie Bond actor to be from outside the UK. I'm more concerned about his nasally voice than where he's from.

I don't believe this story. They aren't even done with the script yet.

I find him lacking in charisma of any sort. I don't even find him able to have much range or disappear into any character from the few films I've seen with him. Granted its not that much. I can only think of Saltburn and trailers I've watched. A bit wooden. A little too emo for my vision and experience of Bond. But that's just me. I'll try and watch Wuthering Heights but I'm not going to watch Euphoria.

The only thing I’ve really seen a full movie of was Frankenstein and he was great in that role. Albeit covered in prosthetics and playing a monster

A 6'5" Bond will be interesting, but they can make short actors appear tall, maybe the reverse can happen.

He's not a terrible choice, but I would've preferred Callum Turner. Seems to have more charisma and is a more masculine guy.

Is it just me or does he look like a younger Eric Bana?
