How much time has passed since Mark and the crew left Earth?

I’m guessing Mark and Eve’s kid is going to be some Godlike being. Superperson with the fricking Phoenix force. That has to be the turning point in this.

Also everyone should just distract motherfrickers and let Space Racer shoot everyone in the face.

Perspective is interesting when it comes to this show. People aren't as good or evil as your think. The Viltrumites need a home and have so much to offer earth. Why wouldn't we all want to procreate with them, and eventually become them? It would take 100s of years for it to happen, but everyone would reap the benefits right away. They would vault our technology and medicine immediately. We'd be the home-base to conquer everything eventually. Why would or should we oppose them?

Because they would look at us as pets? They are ruthless tyrants. We have always opposed conquest.

One thing I dont understand is how do Mark and Oliver survive death but no other Viltrumites can recover?

None of the others end up in a hospital or aided and nutured by a loved one until recovery. Conquest recovered from a hellacious beat down.

Plenty of shite happened. It just wasn’t big bloody battles so I guess your brain couldn’t find any enjoyment

What was the point of Eve getting pregnant just so they could abort the baby?

I think it was to get Mark to a place where he refused to leave Earth again so he could meet up with Thragg and have their conversation. It also shows that Human/Viltrimite hybrids can have offspring with humans.

Well it was either make last week’s episode the finale or make this weeks episode the premiere for next season. And I’m assuming they’ll want to start next season with more of a bang. All these decisions are pretty important for the directions these characters will take so the scenes had to happen

Mark's response to this was completely unrealistic and unbelievable.

Eve gave an absolute bullshite reason for aborting the kid. Something like "I felt so alone." Maybe having a kid could have helped there? Mark should have told her to frick off. Even ignoring the natural reasons to be pissed off in that situation, if this war goes on for another 18+ years, that kid could have been a major asset.

But this may have been the best season yet. Aside from Patriot, it blows away any Amazon original that I can think of.

Agreed on this part. I just wish Robert Kirkman would figure out his politics don't fit his storyline. They stick out like a sore thumb. Happened with Walking Dead, happening with Incincible.

He needs someone to tell him this stuff makes his characters less believable, but I'm sure all he gets are cheers from the Hollywood types.

Well I was way off.

Thragg is so OP it’s ridiculous. I wish they could find some way to power him down next season.

I wonder if Mark keeps the Viltrumites are on Earth secret to himself. Telling the others would definitely mean a war on Earth.

Yeah that was strange. Gotta be more to it. Once she got her powers back she didn’t go join the war so it wasn’t that. What if Mark had been killed? How’d she feel then? Maybe it was just a device they used to have her character sit out so many episodes?

Perhaps they quickly identified it was the baby that was causing her power issues and since no one knew what was happening in the war and when/if the battle was coming to Earth, she made sacrifice for the greater good? She's fat because of the guilt.

My thoughts as well. Like you don't know if the man you love may ever return, I'll abort our baby.

Maybe he tells Nolan, maybe he tells Allen (which will cause Allen to have to decide if he uses the virus). NO way he tells Cecil even though it's likely Cecil finds out somehow.

I think the next season fast forwards a number of years. Mark is ~20 years old and killed Conquest (shocking the other viltrumites and arousing Anissa). His powers are far advanced compared to pure blood viltrumites, who are hundreds of years old.

I predict one or more of the other Viltrumites do something to get out of line and Mark decides it's time to showdown with Thragg.
