Maybe he tells Nolan, maybe he tells Allen (which will cause Allen to have to decide if he uses the virus)
They would have to lead the Vitrumites away to use the virus. No way Allen risks killing the population of Earth which he knows is a distinct possibility. Mark wouldn’t allow it either.
Also Cecil will definitely know shortly they are here.

I think the virus will be a build up considering how they made it the end credits scene and Thaddeus saying repeatedly "no matter the costs"

How much time has passed since Mark and the crew left Earth?
I think Mark said he felt bad for being gone 10 months.
That does help explain the breakdown in the relationship between Paul and Debbie and Eve gaining that weight from her depression/guilt.

I haven't saw the finale yet, but does anyone have a comment on how Thragg just destroyed Oliver like some not worthwhile insect, I think he even called him that. Just brutal!
He also ripped off Thadeus' head like it was nothing after Thadeus was wiping the floor with the other Viltrumites. Smh Dude is just ridiculously strong, it had me wondering how does Battlebeast go toe to toe with him like the comics show when Battlebeast was getting knocked around by other Viltrumites.

He’s useless in space. He has to fight on a place with gravity

Why wouldn't we all want to procreate with them, and eventually become them?
This is a pretty good reason why.

Thragg is so insanely powerful compared to everyone else. I see no realistic way they can beat him at the moment. He feels like if Saiyan saga Goku was to try and fight Cell.
My prediction for the show, is they find a way to infect Thragg with the scourge virus. It doesn't kill him, but weakens him enough to even the playing field between him and Mark.

That or they find the true heir to Argall and Thragg steps aside.

Don't understand how he is so powerful compared to the other viltrumites.
And the whole thing with Eve getting an abortion didn't make sense. What if Mark was killed?
And how hard would it be to abort the baby since it is part viltrumite?

Surprised it didn’t punch its way out

I assumed take the kid a while like how it did Mark to get powers?

Isn't he already in the storyline?

He’s basically a super soldier version of a viltrumite. He was designed and trained to be that way
The whole abortion decision was kind of controversial in the comics too. I just summed it up to her being depressed and having no one to turn to so she decided to abort. And the kid would’ve been essentially fully human for the first few years at least of their life. But as you see with Oliver, the Viltrumite genes eventually completely take over to the point they’re fully Viltrumite

Did I miss that? I don’t remember an heir being identified yet in the show and I haven’t read the comics but you don’t just throw in that line at the beginning of episode 7 without it having meaning later on.

Ive been catching up. On season 2 and watching the NBA games last night amazon was dropping major spoilers for season 5 every commercial break

I just started this series and this show fricks. On episode 5 of season 1
Posted on 4/25/26 at 3:35 pm to cascadia
Eves powers were feeding off the kid. Probably already a little fricked.

It looks like they didn't sell the house and move in together so I guess things stalled fairly quickly. Not totally unexpected when I'm sure Debbie was probably not in a great place with her sons leaving to fight more Viltrumites with her Viltrumite ex-husband that she hates (after he tried to kill her first son and she had to raise his other son from another alien mother).
And then time keeps passing with no news . . . it was probably a lot for her and Paul seems to be the type to try to cheer her up. After a few attempts, I bet that ended badly. At least, they seemed to make an amicable decision to end their relationship and remain friendly.
That's quite rare in the Invincible universe.

this episode went a lot different than I expected.
Definitely was expecting Cecil and the Temu Guardians to have bit the dust but it is pretty smart of Thragg to lay low and have his race procreate.
I don't really understand how Eve can get fat if her powers are back. Can't she literally control all the atoms in her body? Does she just want to be fat because she is sad?
