Finally finished catching up on this today. This season was excellent IMO.
The fight scenes were……yikes. Very enjoyable though. But man they stepped up the fighting this season.
It is a little odd how sometimes people/heroes can be killed very easily and then sometimes they can survive some absolutely awful violence. I wish that was a little more consistent.
But I really enjoyed the storylines this season. I can’t believe they’ve actually made me sort of like Nolan and even pull for him a little bit. I was a little surprised they went with the smushmortion angle for Eve though. That caught me off guard a bit.
That Mark and Conquest fight…holy shite.
The amount of guts spilling out was comical, so that was dumb. But man that fight was absolutely brutal.
The three blowing up the V planet was bad fricking arse.
And I liked the ending where the Viltrumites are gonna blend in on earth and repopulate. That was cool and should be fun next season. And Mark was definitely cornered into that one.
This show is so good.

I’m already doing a complete rewatch of the series. I’m so addicted to this show. Already in season 3 episode 5
For Viltrumites I think if medical attention is close and you didn’t lose your head there is a chance for recovery. I do agree though that the amount of damage taken in the Conquest fight was insane to come back from.
They have to find a way to underpower Thragg some. He literally cannot be hurt.

Just finished. Bummed about the abortion. I was looking forward to a Mark offspring with Eve's powers thrown in there. Another kid for Deb to raise.
This is quite possibly the best voice acting of any animated show I've seen & a reason it's so good.
I hope next season opens with Eve on crack living in the gutter getting banged by a Thraxan.

Knowing Robert Kirkman, it'll probably start with Eve cucking Mark while he sits in a corner and films it. Dude can't help but to ruin his own worlds by throwing his garbage political views into them.

Doubt it. Even if you love baby murder, Mark's reaction to that news was completely unrealistic.
