Rotten Tomatoes

Glad to see this. Many reviewers saying it is classic Pixar. About 25 reviews in. All glowing.

So this isn't the one where the gay dude makes out with Tom Selleck?

Because I'm not watching that shite again.

Does not compute. Toy Story 3 was better than up.

Regardless I'm excited

Am I the only one that considers Wall-E Pixar's best?

Incredibles, Wall-E, & TS3 were all better than Up. I think people get too wrapped up in how "sweet and touching" the first 15 minutes are that they forget the rest of the movie is just Ok..

It's close for me.

But it's hard to pick a favorite Pixar for me because their top tier is so legit.

I don't like Up. I had actually never seen it until a few months ago and watched it with my 3 year old. I was having a rough weekend, and then that opening.

Exactly. All anyone talks about with Up is the first 15 minutes.

My Top 10 Pixar:

1. Wall-E
2. The Incredibles
3. Toy Story 3
4. Finding Nemo
5. Ratatouille
6. Up
7. Monsters, Inc.
8. Toy Story
9. Toy Story 2
10. A Bug's Life

Not me. It's Pixar's best film. Maybe not best animated film, or best family film, but it's their best film (Monsters Inc., Incredibles, Wall-E certainly have an argument). The characters are very good, the plot has an old adventure vibe to it, which is fantastic, and it's a retelling of Moby Dick, done quite well.

The first 15 mins are pretty great, but Carl and Russell's relationship is super fun to watch.

We'll disagree. It's fun, the characters are good, but they just walk around with a floating house for half the movie. Give me The Incredibles with its great superhero, James Bond type feel all day.

And Wall-E just chases a fembot. And Mike and Sully just try to return a girl to her room. Any movie can be "just x."

I've always considered the original Toy Story to be Pixar's best film.

I'll go one further: it's one of the best movies, animated or otherwise, of that entire decade.

I'll try to rank them (via tier)..

Finding Nemo
Incredibles
Wall-E
Monsters, Inc.
A Bug's Life (I've always seemed to like that one more than most)

Toy Story 3 (may be in my top tier)
Toy Story 2
Toy Story
Up
Cars
Monsters U

Ratatouille
Cars 2
Brave

And that tiered list is with the caveat that even the "worst" Pixar movies are still better than most shite that comes out these days. So while Brave is easily my least favorite (with Ratatouille), I still really enjoyed them both.
