Can’t forget that Strange has seen this future so if you happen to be right, he may already know this character Clea.

I don't want to say that was the best movie I've ever seen, but.....
I am way too hyped up right now. How long do we have to wait?
This slow build and lead up and payoff from Marvel might be the best thing in Cinema history.

No. Not the best movie ever. I'm aware. But it was fricking amazing That movie blew all my expectations away.
Thanos was an awesome villain. Made up for and crushed every citric who said Marvel does not have great villains or has no real gravity.
I'm just excited that there's finally a movie franchise that didn't absolutely shite the bed and pussy out or destroy itself.

I secretly always wanted a movie where the bad guy wins. I used to root against Bond. Lol
I liked to see the unexpected.

It’s something that’s never been done before but they hit it out of the park. I agree. You couldn’t have asked for a more satisfying yet depriving movie. It was everything you wanted in the fun, the villain, the costs, the story... but here we are with one of the best cliffhangers in blockbuster history.

There is a reason Empire Strikes Back is the greatest movie ever made.
Let's hope Avengers 4 is better than Return of the Jedi.

I think it was a callback to the first Avengers movie where Loki mentioned that Thor must've needed a lot of dark magic to get to earth with the bifrost destroyed.

Thanos was just all around an amazing character.
The fact that they actually made you care about and maybe even empathize with him in that scene with Gamora was a stroke of brilliance. I can't wait to watch this movie again. He's definitely one of the best presented movie villains of all time IMHO.
After being let down so hard both in movie quality and story structure by both DC and Star Wars, this movie not only lived up to both its hype and expectations, but it blew them all the frick away.

In all this IW excitement I think we forgot to check and see how DC is doing. They've can't be taking this too well

Can someone explain to me how the frick Josh Brolin got so lucky to be both Thanos AND Cable?!?!?!
That dude will never need to work in movies ever again.

Everyone creatively involved with either DC or Star Wars should study the frick out of what Marvel just did, because they have been left far in the dust.
I'd be happy to pay for my IW Pt2 ticket right now. I might not even watch Episode IX for free on cable.
Now, for the good of the thread, I'll stop talking about DC and Star Wars

2 more things:
1. Thor was amazing in this movie and Tom Holland can play Spiderman for a million more movies. I'll watch them all.
Did everyone else laugh at Dinklage playing a giant Dwarf?

3) Heimdall's hero moment was really small. But he said something like, "one last channel of dark energy". What's that a reference to? Was his ability to see and open the Bifrost linked to dark energy?
I didn’t pick up the exact line. But he somehow created his own Bifröst through him.
It was his sword. The bifrost was always controlled by using the sword. That's why Scourge had the sword at the beginning of Ragnarok. When Heimdall conjures the bifrost to save Hulk he touches his sword first. And that's why there's the comment about Storm Breaker being able to summon the bifrost. It now replaces Heimdall's sword.

Total rip off that we didn’t get to see Thanos rape the nova Corp on Xander and take the power stone.

For example, I wondered if Clea (someone none of the movie viewers know) might be involved. Well, we already have Captain Marvel, who we don't know right now. Even with an intro movie coming up, we're not going to be invested, other than to hope she's got some serious game. We've just watched the world get wrecked, despite our beloved heroes' best efforts.
Hmm, I wonder if the reset will result in restoring the Earth to normal... as in OUR Earth. If we swap out characters, then no Captain America (figure Red Skull might be involved too), means no Shield and no Hydra. No Tony means no sudden superhero onset. Everything becomes anonymous again... and ready for the introduction of new heroes.
I can't wait for Cap to meet Skull again. That should be good. I wonder, is Steve Rogers the thing Red Skull loved? He's the perfect super soldier, what Skull desired to be.
