Under house arrest with Hawkeye and Ant-Man.

The Marvel judicial system is a pawn of the Stark prison and ankle bracelet industrial complex.

Have you seen Dr Strange? (I ask because I don't want to spoil the ending if you haven't)

How did Cap and Team end up in Scotland so quickly?
Was it basically that they were trying to track down Scarlet Witch since she had been "out of contact" for too long?

That, and the alien ships were giving off power signatures (as stated in the final conversation with Fury). Cap and crew may have been in that hemisphere or on the continent, saw the power signature, and hauled arse to Scotland to check it out.

Now, for the good of the thread, I'll stop talking about DC and Star Wars

Clea is a major character in Dr Strange. Major. Almost certain they will slip her in a Strange movie, somehow. She is Strange's greatest pupil and becomes his wife. She is also from the Dark Dimension, closely related to Dormammu (his niece). She is described as the Sorcerer Supreme in that dimension, Strange's counterpart.

But as things stand before Infinity War, Strange will keep the door closed to the Dark Dimension and all within it, because of D. So you need a pathway to that opening, one that doesn't involve D immediately taking revenge and destroying our dimension.

Strange being gone due to Thanos opens the door on our end; snapping Dormammu out of existence is a way to show just how powerful Thanos' action is (it destroys the single strongest character in another dimension). Briefly introducing her as a minor character (major power but small role) in IW2 expands the Strange story, and fits the theme of what has happened thus far.

I wouldn't be surprised, either way. But Marvel does seem to plan ahead when it introduces characters. This would fit their pattern.

yeah....I'm sure they'll work all that in to part 2.....I mean maybe if rian johnson takes over and they need an irrelevant b plot

The out-of-context spoilers with Pratt are pretty good

Thor had a legit chance at him, too.

Finally saw it last night. Loved it. Loved every second of it. It was dense. It didn't let up. I'm still digesting what I saw, and I'll have to read through this thread to get some different perspectives. A couple of points:

Often when movies do separate story lines, I find myself not really interested in one, and constantly thinking about the other. Not here. When they showed Cap's crew, I forgot all about Thor's crew. So when Thor's crew was shown, I forgot about Stark's crew. Each story line was so well done, I couldn't pick a favorite.

I've read the comics, so I was glad that the movie had a different plot that is just as good as the source material. I was very surprised that Dr. Strange was one of the ones who died. It must be part of the one path to victory he saw in the future.

My daughter cried when Spider-Man died.

The after credits scene was awesome. I had to explain to my wife and daughter who Captain Marvel was. They were surprised that Marvel is female.

Total rip off that we didn’t get to see Thanos rape the nova Corp on Xander and take the power stone.

could that possibly happen in a future marvel 'pre IW' movie?

Only once. Apparently that line didn't make an impression on me.

It's the time loop he uses to beat Dormammu.
