I bet we never see red skull again and it was just a cameo for fan boys one time

Yes the dink as a dwarf was genius.
Didn’t he have a second gauntlet glove stashed in that dying star machine shop?

Clea is a major character in Dr Strange. Major. Almost certain they will slip her in a Strange movie, somehow. She is Strange's greatest pupil and becomes his wife. She is also from the Dark Dimension, closely related to Dormammu (his niece). She is described as the Sorcerer Supreme in that dimension, Strange's counterpart.
But as things stand before Infinity War, Strange will keep the door closed to the Dark Dimension and all within it, because of D. So you need a pathway to that opening, one that doesn't involve D immediately taking revenge and destroying our dimension.
Strange being gone due to Thanos opens the door on our end; snapping Dormammu out of existence is a way to show just how powerful Thanos' action is (it destroys the single strongest character in another dimension). Briefly introducing her as a minor character (major power but small role) in IW2 expands the Strange story, and fits the theme of what has happened thus far.
I wouldn't be surprised, either way. But Marvel does seem to plan ahead when it introduces characters. This would fit their pattern.

Certainly there could be a drop off from this one but I would be surprised with some chasm simply because of the cast involved and the directors. They have thus far done WS, CW, and now IW. Arguably the 3 best MCU movies of all them. Certainly all in the top 5 or so. These guys know what they’re doing and will deliver.
Also I think we’ll be invested if Captain marvel turns out good too. We only have one Dr Strange and Black Panther movie but most love them already. Look how people felt about Wonder Woman after her one outing. A strong female character (not that the MCU has a shortage) would be great for the future.
I wouldn’t expect Red Skull back but a Cap scene with him would be awesome

So some questions from a guy who isn't exactly a comic book expert:
1. Why was the Red Skull guy on that planet with the stone? How did he get that job?
2. Since Dr Strange presumably gave up the stone because he saw the future outcomes and knew that Tony needed to be alive, could he not have given him more information about how to win? I'm admittedly not sure what the extent of his powers is.
3. Why was Gamora the only one who knew where to find the soul stone? Thanos and his minions seemed to know where all the other stones were. Did she just find a way to hide it?

Thanos take the power stone
It was filmed. Maybe it would be shown in flashback in the next one. It may have been left out to reduce the films run time.

They should have made that an after credit scene to another movie.

It wasn't even agent Smith playing red skull this time.

I don't think any of these questions are comic book related, but solely from the movies.
1. Go back and watch Captain America: The First Avenger. When Red Skull grabs the tesseract, he gets transported away. They also do something with this in Avemgers Assemble.
2. I imagine if Strange told Stark about it, then it would alter that outcome. That's usually how they explain time stuff in theses comics/movies/TV shows.
3. Most likely a plot device. I don't recall there being a hint in prior movies that she did know about the souls stone.

Doubtful that they’re done with this Spider-Man. A good part of this thread is spent on everyone’s love for the guy.
I'm not saying that they will replace him.
I'm simply saying there's already a character out there who could.

Apparently covered in the comic tie-in that's a prequel to the Infinity War movie. I haven't read it though.

In the comics, the Eye of Agamatto is not the Time Stone, it's a completely different thing. Not sure why Strange didn't let Tony in on it, unless he worried that Tony having too much info would screw up what he saw.

My understanding is that it was lost to time, and Gamora was the one sent to find it. In the comics the Soul Stone is the first Infinity Stone that is well known (so much that they are all originally called "Soul Stones"). There's a crap ton of backstory to it, but overall when Thanos acquires the Soul Stone at the beginning of his quest, it's held by a being called the In-Betweener.
Basically Thanos acquires the stones from the various Elders of the Universe. You meet two in the MCU (the Collector and the Grandmaster). Only the Collector has a stone in this one, and only because the Asgardians gave it to him (the Reality gem).

It’s not totally unbelievable that she knew where he soul stone was. She was sent after the power stone too.

I still don’t understand how Wakanda is so technologically advanced but still charges a battlefield on foot w/spears. That also would’ve been a great opportunity to release the war rhinos

Cinematic reasons.

Too close to home for nukes. Drones screaming "WAKANDA FOREVER" aren't as entertaining.

Has anyone pointed out yet that Dr Strange traded the Time Stone for Tony's life?
HE CAME TO BARGAIN.

The original plan was to form a shieldwall. You have to be dismounted to do that. After being outflanked BP ordered a charge. If they had known beforehand the enemy they would face their tactics would have been different.

Pretty sure T'challa mentioned early on that W'kabi wasn't coming or available or something. (He's the head of the tribe that has the Rhinos)
