She has caught a lot of shite in Israel b/c she publicly questions Netanyahu and the Likud party's policies towards Palestinians.

The problem is even though it’s fiction we as humans can’t help but try to rationalize and almost put us in the situation. And when you see someone like Chris hemsworth or Chris Evans you a physically imposing figure. When you see a small woman physically beating bigger people up our minds can’t grasp it. Obviously it’s because of her powers but it’s still hard for us to grasp at a basic human instinctual level

people hate Capt Marvel but love when Scarlet Witch gets powered up. its not about male/female, its about attitude and demeanor.

The problem with the character is that she's stoic, pure and simple. If portrayed wrong, it does NOT work.

See "Sonya Blade" from Mortal Kombat as an example. Portrayed well in Mortal Kombat 9 and X and HORRIBLY in 11.

Hell, Karen Gillan did a far better job of playing a stoic strong female character.

The same interview where Hemsworth says Larson "won their hearts"?

Yeah that's straight venom there.

The same interview where Cheadle straight up mutters at her to not touch him and she/Hemsworth get into a spat over doing stunts. You didn’t honestly believe that “won their hearts” BS, did you?

I think most people like the Captain Marvel character but dislike the casting choice. Just such wooden lines being delivered and no charisma. When she said “last time you didn’t have me” was so cringy. Politics I couldn’t care less about I wish they had just cast someone else

I didn’t hate Captain Marvel at all. It was ok.

At the same time I get people who don’t like Brie Larson. She’s not fun. At all.

What Marvel NAILED from the beginning was bringing a sense of fun to the screen for these movies. Almost every casting decision was spot on but she just doesn’t have that quality.

I think your take on not buying a female superhero is a garbage take.

No shite I literally said it’s her being physically stronger in hand to hand combat. It’s easier for us to comprehend scarlet witch being powerful because she isn’t using her fists to heat people up and Wonder Woman looks like a woman who is close to the same stature as the men she fights, and still doesn’t just walk through them. Brie Larson being tiny and destroying most of those she faces is where the disconnect is. I swear to god half of the people on the this site have an iq of 89

the problem is that’s not my fricking take.. AT ALL. I like scarlet witch, black widow, Wonder Woman, and I personally like pepper pots. I personally don’t ya r as big of a grudge against capt. Marvel as others seem to. But the act she is tiny and op is hard for people to grasp in my opinion. If steppenwolf or darkseid ran through Superman and the rest of the justice league but Wonder Woman showed up out of nowhere and held her own people would question it. That’s my point

People had no problem accepting Wonder Woman or a bunch of other female superheros who aren't muscle bound.

The problem is Brie Larson is just a very unlikable person, no charisma and an all around sour personality.

The character isn't so much the issue but who they cast to play her.

Hate to break it to you but that's Captain Marvel. Shes one of the more powerful Avengers.

Well yeah because superman is the most powerful member of the Justic League.

Scarlet Witch, Thor, and Hulk should all be more powerful. Valkyrie too. As I've said previously, even Iron Man has shown the ability to go toe to toe with her. They have overplayed the power level of Captain Marvel in the movies. Full stop.

I dunno man. From what I saw in Endgame, I think that's how they want her portrayed. I don't think they know how to portray the character in a likeable way.

A 5 second web search will turn up many pages of them going to to toe in Civil War 2. You're so desperate that you're arguing against easily verifiable information.
