I agree with all of that. Maybe GOT spoiled me but with GOT I didn’t want to miss any dialogue, not so much with HOTD. It’s great compared to everything else on TV but it doesn’t grab my attention like GOT did.

Solid episode. They're obviously going all in on Aemond intentionally taking out his brother. I'm not sure what that changes, but whatever. I've always thought the dragon seeds were kinda gay, but I still think that it's a good dynamic.
I don't remember mom/son dream porn. Pretty gross, but at least his mom was hot.

The depth definitely isn’t as good as GOT but people would get absolutely restless if they dragged out some of the storylines from the Dance.

Problem is you don't have any source material for a Valerya story. Would love for GRRM to write one.
