That was the best scene of the episode.

Daemon gives zero fricks.

That is why Rhaenyra cannot keep away from him and vice versa. Game recognizes game.

Icky or not, I loved seeing them angry and viciously spitting high Valyrian at each other. All foreplay -- for exactly what remains to be seen. (Having not read the books, I dont have any preconceived notions about what happens.)

I didn't think so. I think she wanted that deep down. She wants a feisty fighter man that takes charge and takes care of business. She wants a warrior. Plus She's down with any uncle D.

I'm not saying she doesn't want that, I'm just saying in that moment she was calling him out for all of his talk and no action. I don't think she literally wanted him to abscond with her to Dragonstone in front of the entire realm without any plan of action.

Definitely the most woke episode so far

A gay guy acted like a diva and got his face smashed in for it. I guess that's woke?

Just the way he rolls and what makes his character so great in the series.

I think he honestly thought that their similar situations would make them friends and give them a bond. He seemed amused by the whole thing.

For sure Daemon. As far as the show goes, I think the coin is still in the air with Rhaenyra.

I think she will come into her own and be much like Daemon. Why the respect for each other.

I agree but he struggles at times but I believe he said in an earlier episode something in the regard he had only had to rule in the time of peace and prosperity which makes it hard for him to grapple with the issues in the series currently.

Looked like Criston was in jail. He did punch Laenor too. I'm imagining it's Alicent that gets him out now that Breakbones is in the fold.

And it looks like Laena is riding the biggest dragon we've ever seen.

Did you complain about the scene with Daemon hitting it from the back even though it was completely unnecessary and did nothing to progress the plot?

On the contrary, it was relevant to the plot. It laid the groundwork that he has chronic impotence. I mean I guess they could just have had a scene with the whore gossiping about it, but it's relative.

same. my notion of daemon is kind of like a hyrbid tyrion-king joffrey type character. like joffrey type villainy if he matured a bit instead of died young but was also kinda scorned by the family and was cunning like tyrion

They both hate the politics and long for the traditional Targaryen way.

Indeed...

Sounds like they are staying fairly true to character so far then.

I’m truly #TeamDaemon at this point. Man gets kicked out every episode and shows right the frick back up with full BDE. I love it.

I believe him to be a good man, but he even questions his own strength to the hand. He knows he’s dying and and questions if he had been tested would he have been a stronger man. He’s let Daemon run over him several times and his own daughter to a lesser extent.

She was fricking with him. While she is attracted to him I don’t think she wants any type of relationship with the crazy bastard

Ok, I am watching the show and really enjoying it. My wife and I are also watching GOT as we go as she has never seen it and I am getting to watch again. Something popped up in Season 3 that spoiled the freaking ending of HOtD. I guess maybe some knew about this but I just never remembered it as it was just a couple of lines from Joffrey. Sucks.
