I find it even more frustrating that I come to these threads and dudes are like "yeah you know it was Aemon's half-sister's servant from Ep. 11 who was on screen for 4 seconds that's the connection how could you have missed that!"

What the hell was the point in having a whole scene with the spy chick seeing the twin and calling the guard, if it had zero influence on him getting in and walking around the castle for what was probably a half hour or more to find the right room to infiltrate?
I'm guessing the other twin burst into the room because it took her that long to rush in and tell someone what was happening.

that's what I assumed

I would assume actors are usually guaranteed a number of lines/scenes in their contract. I think Entourage discussed this but its been a while

The Game of Thrones......

That would be a GOT move but I’d be willing to bet Rhaenyra is going to make her Hand. My guess is we’ll find out she got word to Erryk and will be rewarded.

Gotta have more girl bosses. Can't wait for the wine goblets to turn into Stanley mugs.

1. It would have been a bad idea for her to speak up when she first saw him. Arryk would have pretended to be his twin anyway, and there’s no guarantee the guards right there would believe her.
2. While I doubt it was anywhere near half an hour for Arryk to find Rhaenyra, it would have taken some time for the girl to find Erryk and tell him his brother has infiltrated the keep. I don’t see why that would have taken any less time than it took Arryk to find Rhaenyra.
3. The point of the scene is that she notices the twin, which leads to Erryk stepping in before his brother can murder Rhaenyra. This can pretty easily be inferred without the need for them to spell out every move. I, for one, would prefer it that way.

Pretty sure the moral of this story has always been that girl bosses frick things up as much or more than the men.
That’s a thread that weaves through the whole game of thrones world.

Also, do any fans pull for the Greens? Criston and Aegon are so unlikeable. Aemond and Alicent aren't much better.
He’s surrounded by complete idiots and there’s not much he can do about it now.

without spoiling it I presume we need to be paying attention to Hugh the blacksmith and the two shipwrights on driftmark?

I can't tell if you know and don't want to spoil or you are asking. This is a spoiler thread. So, people will likely talk freely about it. If you are asking, yeah, they are important. It's one of the few things I think the show runners haven't done a great job on. I can imagine people that didn't read the book are wondering why the hell they keep showing these 3 commoners.

I might need to rewatch the scenes but Alyn and Addam's discussion and Alynn's interaction with Corlys Velaryon is strange considering . . .

I think Hugh's scenes confuse me more. He seems a bit out of character. Maybe they are setting up some sort catalyst for him to become the guy he is in F&B.

I assume, as he is presented as an advocate for the metal working small folk in King's Landing, it has something to do with them or even more personally, his family.
