It’s been a while since I read the book but this does not happen right? Or at least it’s not known to Gildayn or Mushroom?

Either they think they’re getting 8 seasons
At least next week looks good. But then, so did this week.

That moment when Alicent realized she fricked up but still standing on business

I loved that episode. The final scene was awesome when she realized she was talking about aegon the conqueror. I read last weeks episode thread late and I'm shocked people are complaining about the pacing. I mean did we not forgot how fast paced the last 2 seasons were of GoT and how awful that was? I'm doing a rewatch now of GoT and HoD is paced almost exactly the same as earlier seasons of GoT. People just expect action, action, action with no story telling or set ups nowadays

Also, wow. First mouth on dick actual porno we've seen
Quite shocking. As usual, HBO going for the "give them what they pay for" T&A. Game of Thrones started out really raunch and then dialed it back as the popularity exploded.
If I want to watch porn, I know where to find it. For free.
I'm watching. But I can't help but think about how much better GoT was. This series will only help its tarnished legacy.

Right?
My SO turned to me and said “Maybe if all these motherfrickers weren’t named the same three things we wouldn’t have this problem”.

Both during that scene were great, when Rhaenyra realizes she was talking about the prophecy I was wondering if she'd let it all slip but now it affirms war is happening

Episode title was “Burning Mill.”
I am guessing the next is called Rooks Rest or a Dance of Dragons

I read somewhere earlier today that A Dance of Dragons was Ep. 4's title.

They've re-invented the Rhaneyra-Alicent relationship for the TV series and have chosen to make that a focal point.

Fire and Blood is largely based on historical account so it’s all from the perspective of the Grand Maester and Mushroom. And you could argue, that at least one has an agenda in their portrayal. You pretty much have to invent dialogue and interactions in order to put it to screen.
I appreciate the show taking the angle of what would be between the lines and likely in the margins of such an account because the books are all third party.

Normally don’t like them straying from the books but the Rhaenyra & Alicent scene was great.
Letting Alicent know that this is all on her is just fantastic. Rooks Rest next episode, I’m ready for it.

The actor playing Aegon is really fricking good. You can tell he has a million conflicting thoughts and emotions all going on at once and whichever one is dominant in a scene really shines through in a believable way.

So right now only two people know the truth of the misunderstanding. I actually thought Alicent always knew (at least deep down) and was just being deceptive. No way this only stays between the two of them right? I would at least expect the Blacks to go viral with their ravens but maybe it really is too late like Alicent said. I’m aware it wouldn’t really change anything but just wondering how widespread this news becomes. The book readers may not even know this one. At least not with certainty.

Otto knows. He said so last episode. Aegon said something like “He made me King” and Otto replied with “Is that what you think?”
So now at least somewhere in his mind Aegon knows too. We’ll see where that story leads, if anywhere.
