South Park isn't there yet.

I think I saw where it will be late June. As for DC, I also didn't see the Christopher Reeve Superman movies.

I've checked it out a little. It looks like a cool service. Library is huge.

I hope it gets on Roku soon so I can actually watch it in my living room.

Netflix seems to be the only company to have figured out how to have a smooth interface that’s easy to scroll through and find different things to watch.

Hulu isn’t terrible but it’s a bit clunky

Amazon is bottom barrel. Given how much money they have you’d think they have their shite together on that front

Xbox is having issues downloading the app. Guess they got too much traffic

Hulu is on my shite list. Why they put the cursor line on top of the text instead of below it is beyond me.

So HBOMax won’t download on my Xbox for some reason

And now the HBOMAX app on my phone won’t send me the verification code it requires for my AT&T subscription

This is frustrating

With all of those black and white episodes of Popeye and Warner Bros cartoons, and the old school Tom and Jerry stuff, I'll be Buckskin Billing it this weekend.

Can't get the thing to activate on PS4 currently and not on Roku. Guess I have the laptop or Ipad as an option

Went and looked and a lot of Roku users that pre-ordered HBO MAX are upset and cancelling. Dumb move by HBO not having this on the largest streaming device in the country.

Roku is playing hardball and demanding a larger percentage of the subscription fee (probably because a large portion of the subscribers are current HBO customers who are getting the service for free). It's not like HBO doesn't want to be on Roku. They'll get there soon, they just don't want Roku calling all of the shots.

I've been pretty underwhelmed by HBOs movies lately. Seems like every time I put it on, they were playing old shite. Like 80s movies. And not very good ones. I have Contour so I guess I have Max, but I hope its better than the three or four existing HBO channels I already have.

What a crappy rollout. I'm an HBO subscriber through cable. Not only is the app not available through Roku or Fire, I downloaded the Android app on my fine to see if my cable provider is listed and...nope.

Why can't these things just be completely integrated?

Just loaded it up and pretty impressive library. The TCM library alone will be great. Gonna cancel Netflix and Hulu for a while once they get the Roku app running, hopefully soon.

One thing I will do once this hits Roku is cancel HBO through my cable provider and just subscribe to HBO Max. Are live HBO streams on this app too?

I was confused when I clicked into my Apple TV and saw my HBONow became HBOMax...

I then promptly began watching all the classic Cartoon Network shows

The service is almost worth it just for the CN/Warner/Hannah-Barbera/Fleischer/MGM cartoons.

I'm guessing they are still censoring some of the older Looney Tunes episodes?

All This and Rabbit Stew

An unnamed African American hunter walks over to a rabbit hole where Bugs is eating his carrots.

The hunter is identified in his model sheet as "Tex's Coon". The hunter fills the role usually associated with Elmer Fudd; this was one of four Bugs Bunny short films of 1941 which have him facing a different hunter each time (the others were Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt, in which Bugs faced an Indian; The Heckling Hare, in which Bugs faces Willoughby the Dog; and Wabbit Twouble, which pits Bugs against Fudd). He is described as a "shufflin', big lipped, sleepy-eyed country coon" who cannot resist a game of craps. The Stepin Fetchit-like character has his shuffling and mumbling exaggerated for comic effect. The caricature is treated with contempt.
