So does HBO Max include everything from HBONow in the price, plus all the extra Warner stuff?

I signed up for the 11.99 for a year deal since I already had HBO on Amazon. I have no clue whats going to be on the app tomorrow. I just assume its HBO with a few more movies and somewhere down the line, we get DC shows.

Just think of it as a rebrand for the off cable packages (hbonow and hbogo) with added shows from other networks (South Park for example) and a lot more movies apparently.

I just found out that HBO subscriptions with some cable companies will carry over to HBO Max as well, but Comcast is not one of those companies. I'll be cancelling Comcast HBO to sign up for HBO max

It comes included with my ATT internet, so I'll do it.

Looks like it's included as a part of Cox Contour for current HBO customers. I'll see tomorrow if it shows up as a Contour app and if the online log-in just asks for your cable company info as Go and Now do.

Here are some helpful articles about good movies and shows available when HBO Max launches, and some other movies coming to the service in June.

I just woke up to download HBO Max and found out it is currently unavailable for Roku and Firestick. WTH?

The first couple of hours of HBO Max have been a disaster. Since most people use Roku or Firestick they are waking up this morning to realize they cannot watch it. I also have a PS4 so I was able to download the app that way. So far my favorite part has been the TCM hub. Tons of classic movies.

Holy shite that’s the easiest I’ve ever accessed a new streaming service! Woke up and my Samsung TV had already added it to my homescreen next to the other HBO apps!

The TCM library is the tits!

These are the two biggest streaming devices on the market and they couldn't get a deal with either of them before launch? I know they will eventually get something worked out, but that's just not smart to launch a new app and not have at least one of them signed up.

No, but it's got a nice mix from silent to modern, an impressive number of movies, and a ton of Japanese films like the kaiju films, Lone Wolf & Cub series, Hanzo series...

A thousand times better than the TCM app.

How’s the interface? I hated the HBOGO one.

Similar to HBO Now.

It's a little tricky, some categories appear to just have a few episodes (Looney Tunes), but after clicking around you realize that there's a huge list of seasons to go through.

I really like the interface

I don’t think people realize how much content is on here. It’s the whole HBO catalog along with all of Warner Brothers, DC comics, and all of the Turner entertainment

It has all the adult swim, impractical jokers, all harry potter movies, and every DC movie ever released

Plus they will be doing a lot of original content

I don't think it has every DC movie. Unless I am missing the Dark Knight movies.

South Park isn't there yet.
