Pros:
Massive amount of content
Probably my favorite movie collection of any streaming service
Classic MGM content
Looney Toons, Hannah Barbara, etc
Cons:
No roku or firestick
Tons of lag so far

Boomerang app is $40 for the year and is loaded with cartoons. Bought it for the kids.

Are they going to get a bigger catalog of Hannah Barbera? I don't see any of my favorites listed - Laff-A-Lympics, Jetsons, Flintstones, Smurfs, Huckleberry Hound, etc.
Yogi Bear and Scooby Doo are fine, but that's all I really see that I watched growing up. I vaguely remember Johnny Quest, maybe?

No clue, but I would assume they would.

A quick search brought up The Flintstones and The Jetsons. I haven't looked for the other stuff.
Watched Jonny Quest at lunch. It's the unedited version with the non-PC stuff left in.

Is there any update on this? Amazing that HBONOW was available on Firestick and HBO Max isn't?
Is it technical issues or just a not going to be there yet?

I'll have to check again. The Jetsons Movie is on there, but I didn't see the original series. I didn't see anything Flintstones.

No update so far. It's not a technical issue. They are arguing over money.

Financial issues.
As soon as they agree on terms, Max will be on Roku and Firestick. Probably Roku first.
It's similar to when your local TV station falls off of your cable menu because they're fighting over the terms of their contract renewal.

Seriously?
What in the loving frick.. Why would they offer HBONOW people using firestick to commit to a year for 11.99 if they weren't prepared to launch on time.

Finally got it to download to my XBoxOne.
It will be interesting to see what all they are able to keep on the service early on while all their current licensing agreements are still in effect. I know b/c of previous deals there are a few movie that have come and gone from Disney+ so I'm assuming the same applies here.
Went to their "Last Chance" section and there is a decent amount of stuff there some of which are WB properties.
Here is a list of the movies currently in that section in the order they appear (I'm assuming this ones at the top leave soonest). They note if the movie is streaming through HBO so I went ahead and put those in parentheses as well.
The Meg (HBO)
Braveheart
Ma (HBO)
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
The Hobbit: Batle of the Five Armies
Us (HBO)
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Catwoman
Tropic Thunder
The Lego Batman Movie
The Lego Movie
Justice League
Practical Magic
BlacKkKlansman (HBO)
Pretty In Pink
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants
Match of the Penguins
Selena
Two Weeks Notice
Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
Hellboy (HBO)
American Wedding (HBO)
Shutter Island (HBO)
Gran Torino
Teen Titans Go! to the Movies (HBO)
Unfriended: Dark Web (HBO)

Not being available on Roku or Amazon (two of the largest streaming platforms) is a crock of shite. This may bite them in the arse if they don't come to an agreement with them.

I work in the biz and shot a text to a buddy who’s high up with AT&T
He said they are negotiating with Roku and amazon and should be done within a week
We Both agreed they should’ve waited until it was done but whatever

If I have HBO Now already, is there any point in switching to Max? What’s the price difference?

I just woke up to download HBO Max and found out it is currently unavailable for Roku and Firestick. WTH?
I have the right cable for the free upgrade. Went to start watching, and apparently not one device I have has the app. Roku smart TV, Firestick, older model Apple TV, PlayStation 3. How is it possible to have a smart tv and 3 devices connected to it, and not one of them can get HBO Max?

Whatever device supported HBO Now, it hurt converted on my PS4 from the old HBO now app

Free with AT&T unlimited. It's pretty sweet. Lots of good stuff on it.
