I don’t know that they anticipated Watson growing into the attractive young woman she became. She clearly made a jump in that department between movies 2 and 3.
They did get lucky on Grint outgrowing Radcliffe though, so Harry being relatively scrawny worked out

I figured I’d get that gif or similar. 
My only point is that I think Watson probably ended up being more attractive than book Hermione was meant to be by the end of the series, but no one could have predicted that in 2000 or whenever they started casting.

The introduction and overuse of the word 'toxic' has to be one of the gayest things in Western culture over the past 10-15 years.
But yeah, unfortunately we've already seen how young kids can attract undue and unwanted attention from all sorts. First were the kids, the legions of fans who grew up with and saw Hermione (Emma Watson ) in particular grow from a cute kid to a stunning young adult. That's already been established as a thing to watch out for. But now the Left lunatics will come at all of them and demand they have the CORRECT views, or else risk being cancelled. Stuff no kid, actor or otherwise, should have to deal with at their age.
Terrible business.

While I loved Rickman's portrayal, he was too old to be Snape. Same with Driver, show needs to be more book accurate, we don't need the movie changes this go round.
