Its weird seeing people say you cant cast a black "villain" because the main character is white and that would make them racist for not liking the villain. As if nothing else that happens between them matters.

Yes it still feels off to me, I'm likely just too attached to the original cast. Obviously Snape is a joke but Hermione looks terrible too. I really don't mind the rest I guess.
And yes Williams score missing is a big deal for the magic, pun intended.
It would be like having an Indiana Jones movie without the Indiana Jones theme. It's just so iconic and fits the world so well that even a Hans Zimmer quality substitute still won't feel right

Yeah the John Williams music feels irreplaceable especially after visiting the theme park.
