Here's my $0.02: I figure that based on the complaining in here that I'm the only book reader at this point who loves the show. I'm not going to bitch about every change they make; they are 2 different mediums. I started watching the series as a Hodor, read the books 2 years ago, and still love them both overall.
Y'all also need to stop acting like the Fat Man's books are absolutely flawless when many parts of books 4 and 5 drag on for an eternity.
You should know by now that I'm with you on all this.

My Hodor friend thinks that the witch in the flashback was talking about Dany and that Littlefinger/Sansa are on their way to Dorne.

How do we know Aegon isn't in the show? Maybe I missed something tonight.
Also kind of forgot where he ended up in the books.

Agreed. Really wish we could talk about the show in the episode threads (with our book knowledge) instead of comparing and whining about every detail that was changed from book to TV.

I still think there's a chance he will be in it - maybe Griff and Young Griff will be the means of Tyrion and Varys travelling towards Danny.
To be honest, I was never that enamored of the Aegon storyline in the books so it won't really bother me if they cut it out. "Griff" coming home was pretty poignant but other than that I didn't pin much hopes on the plot. (Oh, also aside from the fact that I think that's how Lloras got fricked up - in storming Aegon stronghold).
I enjoyed the episode. Got to see young Cersi. Got to see Vary's unfolding part of his plot. Got to see Tyrion hitting pretty close to rock bottom. Got to see Jon's leadership continue to grow - and a good Jon/Red Lady moment. Some good stuff.

I don't care what anyone says but the point that Jon picks up that bow and handles his business is still badass to me.

That's a change I approve, especially if Ramsay just killed him in ADWD. It is in character for both of them, and that's what I really care about. Learned to not give a shite about everything else.

Yeah Ramsay's letter in the books says he's in a cage and being forced to use the skins of the spearwives to keep himself warm.

I'm finally not a Hodor, and it no longer matters.

It's really your own fault, googie. You and your little dipshit kind have run people off of this site for a long, long time.

Oh...Mance. I thought he was referring to Jon. Was completely lost.

I always enjoy the episodes because I don't really know what to expect, even though I've read the books. Tonight, Mance apparently died and won't be involved in the whole Abel act in Winterfell, but really who cares?
As long as they don't completely detract and have Dany and Samwell Tarly having babies or something, I'm cool with it.

Anyone else piss/grab a drink/text during Daenarys scenes? I've really adapted to the fact that they're irrelevant.
