See that's what I'm saying. Madking will talk shite then calls everyone who calls him out a liar every damn time.
It's old. Get a new schtick, troll.

Saying “it’s against the rules to call me a liar” so you can lie at will is about the weakest tactic there is. No wonder it’s a favorite of you and yours.

The ease and effectiveness of that weapon was my biggest disappointment in last night’s episode. Enjoyed it overall otherwise.

Same, thought the episode was great, Sea Snake finally showing his sailing prowess was great, just thought they made that one silly error. I think it’ll be a one off though.

I thought they did a poor job of showing the Sea Snakes experience. He seemed hesitant and outmatched as he gave orders and his ship was too pedestrian imo. Ordinary weapon systems wielded by ordinary soldiers.
He had the Tri cap stuck in a tight passage and could have positioned for attack. Instead she is given time to escape the pass and ram his ship in half.

Rhaenyra getting cooked (we'll see if they even do that) seems secondary to that one fight.

Well, at least one of the horrific actors is gone now…the guy who plays Jace sucks at acting.
Now if we can just get Rhaena out of the show, it will be infinitely better.

No one is saying that you moron. I'm pointing out you call everyone a liar. It's your thing. But you are just a stupid troll. You are the worst poster in the history of this board. You add nothing nothing to any post your in. We are all worse off with your presence.

She’s almost certainly going to go mad when she sees he’s dead.
She has to go scorched earth on her team. They've been so disorganized the whole time bc no one respects or fears her so no one listens. Even if she's making poor decisions, they're still better off all working together than everybody doing their own thing. Although my guess is she probably loses some support in the process, Ulf seeming most likely bc I'm sure Aemond will give him his castle

Boy this thread really went off the rails.

The current was pulling them hard back into the rocks. They had to get away from The Teeth.

I really really hope they don’t go soft on this.
This could be the point of inventing a side-plot for Aegon, i.e. to make him more sympathetic so the audience won't be so pissed when he comes out on top (sort of).

Team Black, but the actor that plays Aegon has me cheering for him.
The battle was great. Lohar's ship was awesome when it rammed. I wasn't sure if they'd change Jace's story, so I'm glad they didn't.
Him and Baela were not ready to go to battle. They didn't even wear armor. I'm guessing this is why Ryaenera grabs Baela's face in some of the previews.
Can't wait to see the Winter Wolves start wrecking shite.

I went back and re-read the chapters from blood and fire that relate to the dance because I felt like everyone on this show is retarded and upon further inspction, the events do play out like 2 sides with no clear leadership or at least no leaders with any military experience. I still hate that every bad thing that happens is happenstance or a misunderstanding because it definitely lessens the impact of every action and makes every character look incomepetent. I'd much rather have the 2 women in charge make decisions, even bad ones, definitively.
BUT the portrayal of everyone being dumb as bricks does kind of line up with the actions in the book.

You begin to realize their idiocy makes sense when you consider they're largely from incestuous relationships (with a solid streak of madness in there) and are largely only in power because of the power of dragons.
If you read any early English history (think Edward II), there's a whole lot of that also reflected in real life (only in power because of the size of the army/their lineage and not necessarily because they're the smartest person in the room)

Yep, I agree with your take. Rhaenyra could have just told Daemon to "Be a King and deliver me a kingdom." Let him plan and execute everything. It all would have been fine.
