There's a fairly reliable redditor that says the leaker could be mistaken and that it's Cersie not Dany that loses her shite when she hears "Bells signaling surrender" start ringing.
Why would Dany go mad from bells ringing at King's Landing signaling their surrender and her winning? Because she might have to stop burning the city? This only makes sense if it is Cersei that goes mad or am I not understanding this? The sad thing is the writing has been so bad I can see it being Dany who goes mad

Makes no sense.

Like he was enabling the Mad Queen sidenof Dany, hoping she’d go nuts?
Tyrion turning heel latenin the game to the losing side would be a bad move. That’s the kind of thing that could ruin a series

Turning on Dany for Jon because she’s going mad and you are afraid she’ll torch the city? Sure.
Turning on her for Cersei and helping her to torch the city instead? No. fricking. Way.

At this point, it’s not that it is for killing White Walkers as much as that it is a sign of the Targaryen line returning.
Of course this would require some setup of the two swords, which apparently didn’t happen in this case.
Maybe if GRRM gets around to finishing the last two books after he orders the best pizzas ever, we can get the proper setup.

I don’t see a way they make this believable at this point. It’s hard to swallow for Jaime. Impossible for Tyrion.

I can see the heel turn from a 'family' perspective but I can't see him helping Cersei kill innocent people via wildfire and I also can't see him not telling Dany about the cache of wildfire being under the city.
Also going to be interesting to see how any Army of 20,000 plus surrenders against an Army one third their size unless Dany scorches half the Golden Company and that just wasn't mentioned? I guess with fire everywhere it could be mass chaos and the Golden Company just saying screw this and fleeing?

I am very familiar with Tyrion Lannister.
Did you not listen to the actual EP4 speech he gave to Cersei?
Have you not been paying attention at all to the show variant of Tyrion the last two seasons actually?

The potential reasoning is he tries to help Jamie and Cersei flee KL.

I assume she barbecues them either with Drogon or with the various wildfire caches going off.
In the book universe, the entire point of the Golden Company is that they are an army meant to place a Blackfyre (Targaryen High Bastard) king on the throne and that they do PMC work on the side with the only out in their contract being “in case we are going to do another Blackfyre Rebellion”.
Ditching Cersei before she’s dead would pretty much tank their rep as the sellsword company whose word is as good as gold.

This is better than previous leaks have suggested, though the Tyrion siding with Cersei thing would be really really hard to swallow. Stupid twist when Cersei should already know there's wildfire everywhere and have a plan to spring it.
Otherwise, would be pretty happy with the other major plot points.

So Tyrion would help ignite the wildfire to cause a distraction so Cersei and Jamie could flee? That makes it a little more clear but after the past 2 seasons of him begging for the city to not be burned I just can't see it. Should be interesting.

That and to pin the explosions on Dany because Tyrion truly believes Dany has gone mad.
When in reality she hasn't.

I could see her trying to set up and frame Tyrion for the already planted wildfire in King's Landing. She may try to play it that he was assisting her even though it was already done years ago.

Gendry finds it while mining for steel for the dragon armor?
If these leaks are legit Im ok with it. More plausible than half the garbage spewed out last week during the actual episode, anyway.

The sword used to belong to one of Aegon the Conqueror’s sister wives Visenya

I thought the leak was, at the end, Dany and Jon are off to the side talking and in an embrace. They are by a grate, it opens and Cersei, Jamie and Tyrion come out. Scene ends with Jon and Dany giving them a shocked look.
The bells signal Cersei to tell Qyburn to ignite the wildfire. He dies but the message is sent.
KL burns.
The people think Dany did it.
