That sucks. Maron just posted that it was too expensive to keep the sets and office space, because filming wasn't scheduled to resume until next May. They had already shot 2 episodes when the pandemic hit.

That was the peak.
S3, like S1, was a mixed bag but had enough good stuff in it to make it worth watching. S4 was trash.
Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and S1 of Goliath are definitely Prime shows worth a watch.
As for GLOW, I liked it but it wasn't good enough for me to be pissy about the cancellation.

Damn, I liked GLOW. I agree that the last season slipped a bit, but I still enjoyed it and would definitely liked for them to be able to wrap shite up.
I hate when shite is cancelled and storylines/plots don't get wrapped up. It's why shows should have contracts for X number of seasons out the gate, so they can tell a clear, concise story.

You know you say that but I think that this will force some out of the business. For example, the actress who played Abigail in "Lovesick" for any who may know that show posted recently on Instagram she is out of acting and back in "University" to become a Linguist. Now she is just one example. She seems to be all excited about being back in class. It makes me nauseated to think about that. But aspiring actors are like aspiring pro football players. The universities crank more of them out every year.

The wolf girl had a major role on Perry Mason, but that's done for her.
The Arab girl is getting some commercial work.
Other than the main stars, I don't see the rest of the cast getting a ton of gigs.

Maron tweeted that Netflix should let them make a movie to wrap it up. He says what they planned for the season would fit in a two hour movie.
