GLOW cancelled
Instead of having the final season Netflix decided to cancel GLOW. That sucks. I have watched since the beginning and was looking forward to see how it turned out.

Netflix renewed GLOW and then had to a cancel it due to Covid-19. I’m guessing that scheduling conflicts made it too difficult for them to move forward with their shoot and they had no choice.

It must blow now to be a middle level actor. Netflix has cut the legs off at the knees for a bunch of these actors. Glow, The Society, etc, etc.

After that abortion called Season 3, I’m not surprised or disappointed. Had a good first season, a great second season (minus the seeds of SJW nonsense), and then went fully off the rails on bullshite in the last season.

Yes and no. Netflix is starting to churn out a ton of stuff so most of those actors will be back at work on something.
Where Netflix is starting to get a reputation, and not a good one, is three seasons and you are done. Generally contracts are renegotiated after three or so seasons and actors are looking for pay raises (which they should be doing, if you make it three seasons you have a successful show). Netflix has a tendency to just cancel a show rather than renegotiate.

That was a really good show. S4 would have been interesting for the early cable days era of wrestling.
Plus pretty much every main actress on the show worth a damn showed the boobies last seasons so there is that.
