The old Kings of Winter are gonna rise up and fight to defend Winterfell.
Also interesting to note that the books say the crypts of Winterfell are larger than Winterfell itself. So we’re talking about thousands of dead Starks entombed in levels upon levels of underground catacombs. The entire thing was constructed by Bran the Builder who arguably has more connections to powerful magic than any character in the series. There is some supernatural frickery going down in there for sure.

I’ve seen that theory thrown around. Because right now they made it seem that there is going to be a massacre down there with all the “crypts are safest” lines and Dany’s “the dead are already here” line. So it could be they are trying to throw people off with all that and actually have the dead defend the living.

I’m really starting to think things are going to end more straight forward and predictable than people expect. Everybody is really starting to reach with all these fan theories

You serious? How would that be corny? It’s hinted at very heavily in the books that the dead beneath winterfell will rise again. Several key characters like Jon and Ned have pretty intense dreams along these lines.

That’s typically how these stories end. Straight forward (exception: Mad Men and maybe Fringe)
With that said - it would be incredibly dumb not to have SOME twist with the Night King. NOTHING we have been shown on screen, historically, leads us to believe Bran is telling the 100% truth. The NK is truly a victim and a pawn.

What if...What if the Golden company marches north to Winterfell and arrive on the battlefield as the battle is underway. They would have to engage the AOD, but with no dragon glass or Val. Steel. Could have disastrous results for Winterfell. Damn I was hoping to see elephants.

The worst part is, they had his death done perfectly (saving Barristan with his last bit of strength) and then pulled a switch for no reason whatsoever.

Nah, I think he let's his WW generals fight at first and when it look like the living is going to win he shows up with his dragon and wrecks shite. Dragons fight some but none die. Then they have to retreat from WF at end of episode. Think the battles last for 2 episodes..ends halfway through E4. Not sure how but I believe the living win in the end. Maybe the Red woman shows up with Dario and 2nd sons plus a bunch of red witches and casts a spell?

I am still curious regarding the coin little finger gave the girl prior to his death at Winterfell. The same coin Arya used to get to the house of the faceless men.
Maybe the preview of her running scared through the crypts was the waif or another faceless man chasing her. The only other time I ever seen her run for her life.
