My theory....

Everyone in the crypt does a horribly gruesome death. Everyone.

I'm not reading 50+ pages, and I'm sure someone's already touched on this already, but their idea to hide from the onslaught of an army of the dead and a guy who can raise the dead is to lock themselves underground with the dead.

This isn't a complaint, just an observation... it looked cool as hell the way Umber Baby Demon flared up and burned when Beric lit him up.

But Beric simply touched his sword to him and then stepped back, while the kid went up like he was soaked in kerosene.

If I'm Beric, Tormund or Edd, I would have been suggesting lots of flaming arrows and torches be included in the plan . At least a couple volleys, just to see if any others burn like that.

In the name of diversity and such...before the big battle, it only seem fair that Missandei should hook up with TER.

First, she could use some actual dick even if from a weird crippled honkey since the castrated brotha let her down.

And maybe getting some quality brown sugar might help TER-Bran not be so much of a weird mofo.

The writers should get on that.

Nobody knows if they have to be killed by wights or ww to be turned. They don’t know as much as we do

Or as much as we think we do

Also tired of looking at that smug bitch Sansa...they dress her up like a damn dominatrix, and she shows no tits or bush. Makes her expendable as hell.

You know you can just go watch some porn if you need to jerk off so badly right?

Jon agrees that they have to burn the dead from every battle at the Wall, even if it's against the Wildlings. It isn't tradition, it's being smart.
Jon, Tormund and Edd saw him raise the Hardhome dead, simply by standing and raising his arms. If I had been there and saw that, I'd be thinking "he just has to be close at hand, and focusing some (SOME, because he was staring Jon down the whole time)."

Sorry to disrespect your forefathers, but I'd have cleared out the crypts before going to Dragonstone. At latest, as soon as I heard the Wall was breached.
As Tormund says of the dead, "they're dead, they don't care". And I think Ned would understand.

I would have to think if the crypts were dangerous, Bran would tell them...or he is a major a-hole

I just asked this in another thread- do any of Bran's guards have Valerian steel swords, or are they just going in with dragonglass? Daggers and axes are nice, but if I'm Theon, I want every weapon I can bring to the table.
The Tarly sword would have been more useful there, possibly.

Does Bran KNOW, or does he just SEE? He didn't know Jon was Aegon until Sam tipped him off. He then looked, and learned the truth.
Jon saw a wight getting animated at the wall, and then he saw a whole bunch get animated at Hardhome. After that, he was all-in on cremation purely as a precaution. Until and unless Bran specifically says otherwise and provides some weighted proof, I'd be erring on the side of caution, not assuming those dead bodies are safe just because they were related to you once.

I think they keep saying it’s the safest place because it has a protection spell. And i think all the tombs are sealed up tight like a pharaoh’s would be. Wouldn’t Ned be turned to ash by now? It’s been 10 years, right? Before him was Lyanna, that was like 28 years ago she was put in the crypt. I think the dead family already in their tombs stay there but what if a living stark is injured and dragged down there and dies down there and NK does the rise up move?

Then we got a problem.

Liked the episode, I know people ITT have moaned a lot about it but it was a feel good episode to both build up the tension for the battle and also to try and regrow attachment to characters before they die.

Saw someone moan about Lyanna/Jorah conversation it lasted 20 seconds and was pretty realistic imo. If you’re moaning about that you’ll moan about anything and everything.

Thormund downing his drink had me and the gf howling.

The trial of Jamie was short but you can blame that on Sansa, by clearing him she basically ensured Danny couldn’t continue or do anything because she couldn’t overrule her in open court or risk the North hating her even more.

Varys has been disappointing this season, the man who knows everything doesn’t know that Cersei has hired the the golden company?

I do think the NK has gone elsewhere, however I was thinking about the use of his dragon. If he burns people up he’s affecting his future army so I’m questioning how much it will be used for outside of fighting the other dragons.

So the NK wants the 3 eyed Raven, formerly Brandon Stark. Wheel his arse out the front gate and let him have him. Bran is dead, his body is possessed. He doesn't help anybody, he doesn't care. frick him.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dany took her armies and dragons and just walked. She was going to fight for her boyfriend, but she wants her rival to die.

I think he "sees" things but he has to actually focus on specific events. I think he even mentioned that he "thought" Arya would go to King's Landing meaning he doesn't actually know everything that's happening or what will happen.
