Speaking of Edmure, did they say what they were going to do with him? I wonder if he's still at Riverrun or if they put him back in the dungeons at the Twins? I'd be surprised if Arya spent that time there posing as the serving girl and didn't hear someone boasting about him being held.
In the books they're being held at Casterly Rock right now.

Indicative of you looking for plot holes that don't exist

Is GOT the most touchy show for poster ever on this board? Holy cow some people are insane, I have seen even legit non-spoiler posts get deleted or result in a ban because someone cried to a mod.

The Preston Jacobs recaps are generally full of them. Maybe he should check those out.

Its unbelievable that Little Finger has positioned himself in the North and has an extreme position of power considering Jon needs his men. the best player in the game IMO.
He is Jons Bannerman now. Jon could easily replace him with someone else as head of the Vale.

What he was arguing for makes no logical sense and he half admitted that while covering his tracks with the line about it being indicative of what he doesn't like about the show
I'm not saying the show doesn't ever have plot holes, I'm saying that thing he's arguing isn't a plot hole

Going back to LF and his Knights of the Vale, he's got a kinda loose hold on the Vale. Sansa is the only one alive who knows that LF killed Lysa. All she's gotta do is tell Robin
Robin is back in the Vale for that very reason.

I don't see the Hound and Mountain meeting up anytime soon and I think the mountain goes down when Kings Landing goes down. The hound is headed north to the wall. Maybe Jamie takes out the Mountain after Cersei goes completely insane.
I'm of the opinion that the Mountain goes rogue once the Wall comes down. He'll turn full wight. Then in the final battle, The Hound kills his brother once and for all with a flaming sword.

That's the plan at least, but they haven't gotten there yet, and Tom of Sevens happened to overhear this.

By this logic wouldn't every un-burnt dead thing with at least some flesh become a wight?

That's the logic I'm following, so yes. It would be fricking awesome in the Casterly Rock battle that's probably coming up if Tyrion wins it, the Wall falls down, and immediately all the men that fell rise causing chaos throughout Casterly Rock and Lannisport.

Clearly Martin was hyping the Ed Sheeran cameo.

In the analysis that followed, it was discovered that Martin’s quote about Valyria was adapted from a biblical quote about ancient Babylon:
Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
Now, let’s get to the theory: That passage comes from the Book of Revelation, Chapter 18, Verse 10. In shorter notation, that’s Revelation 18:10.
Martin also uses the specific language from the King James version of the bible, and the King James in question was, of course, an English monarch. So: Revelation 18:10.
My theory is ludicrously simple, and I’m a little shocked that nobody (as far as I can tell) has scooped me in the past three days: Martin’s “revelation” is that The Winds of Winter will be published on 18/10, which is British notation for Oct. 18.
In the past, Martin has referenced the fact that his publishers could get his book out within three months if they were in a rush. As it happens, Oct. 18 is just over three months from the present, and if Martin had previously turned in his manuscript, it makes sense that a longer, more usual publication schedule was in place.
Good grief people have too much time on their hands.

I will say one thing that is bothering me is Heartsbane. Why hasn't Randall Tarly come for it? What is he waiting for? And why did Sam steal it? Just as a frick you to his dad? I mean I get that, sure, but it seems like an odd thing to include with no follow up.

Wasn't it Valeryian steel? Sam knows it can kill white walkers
Posted on 7/17/17 at 6:39 pm to ohiovol
Sam took it as an fu to dad as well as knowing the value of Valyrian steel.

it wasn't that long ago, if you are looking at how many episodes have passed since he took it. I highly doubt we don't see heartsbane again

Yeah, Book Randall would have tracked him down by this point and literally gutted him like a pig for doing such a thing.
I just have to accept it as stupidity from the show, just like I had to accept Littlefinger marrying Sansa off to the Bastard of fricking Bolton.

I haven't read the books in a while, have we ever been given any reason why White Walkers come down
