I don't think they can count on shite from the Riverlands. That area has been turned to absolute dog shite at this point.

I don't think anyone left alive really counts on anything aside from Tyrion and Arya maybe. Dany (and to a lesser extent Jon) just run around and luck into shite to help move them along.

whether or not in the "real world" all these castles/lands/armies changing hands would matter, i doubt the show is gonna spend much time on this from here on out
GoT was a very cool televised game of Risk for a while, but it looks to me like thats done with an we are on to individual destinies and the fight against the dead

Yes, I was trying to say this in that it has shifted into an archetypal fantasy story (which i am a big fan of usually) in another thread, but didn't put it nearly as well.

Going back to LF and his Knights of the Vale, he's got a kinda loose hold on the Vale. Sansa is the only one alive who knows that LF killed Lysa. All she's gotta do is tell Robin or another powerful person in the Vale and LF has lost all his bargaining power.
I honestly don't know why she hasn't already done that, or at least told Jon. She knows he's gonna try to move on Jon so why doesn't she do something about that? He's used up his value to her.
It's not like LF is beloved in the Vale, in fact, he's pretty much hated by all the powerful people in the Vale.

Ser Bronn of the Twins has a nice ring to it.

I went with Bronn as the Lannisters control the Twins and have promised Bronn a castle for his house.

Because if LF loses power then the Knights of the Vale go home.

Or Riverrun. That is conveniently lordless at the moment.

A big point of difference is Dragonstone. Cersei loses a lot of men taking that back in the books. That may be why I remember their army being in bad shape. Since that didn't happen in the show, maybe their army is better off
But they mostly weren't Lannister men, it was the Redwyne fleet and Tyrell soldiers comprising most the the force.

Would Rivverun fall to Sansa now since I don't think there are any other heirs left. The Stark children are the only highborns that I think have any Tully blood in them. Robyn has the Vale and Jon has Winterfell.

but then again Brienne has seen Arya recently so you would think she'd share that with Jon and Sansa..kind of odd that she hasn't come to think of it
Breanne told Sansa she saw Arya. This was after Breanne saved Sansa and Theon from the Bolton search party/dogs and they were camping in the woods.

I thought he already had been promised a smaller House's claims?

Are we assuming Brynden is dead (show) or alive (books). If alive, it is his I would think.

Not necessarily, if word gets to Robyn about the facts of Lisa's death, Robyn in his love for Sansa could sway the Knights of the Vale to stay in Winterfell under Jon or Sanaa's control.

Edmure and his son would have the claim to Riverrun. With all of the Frey male heirs dead now wouldn't they have the claim to The Twins as well?

I'm going by the show.
