So is there anything to the whole "Longclaw's eyes opened" thing that everyone is talking about on the interwebz?

Nope. Writer or director came out and said he had no idea what people were talking about and that wasn't his intention.

If i were Ygritte, I would be a little worried. Kit and Emilia look at each like they are for real into each other.

Probably if the Mountain is actually dead.

I don't know what the books said about it, but he responds to commands and not even very specific commands. He seems to display sentience. If he is dead then he's probably like Uncle Benjen who was not controllable by the NK.

Speaking of the Mountain, is there any chance the fan favorite the Hound wins the Clegane Bowl? That just doesn't seem to be how GRRM rolls. The most positive outcome might be them both dying but I wouldn't be shocked if the Mountain kills the Hound and we're all crushed.

If you're referring to my theory, just to be clear- that's just a guess. I did cave in and watch the leaked episode last week, but came on and announced I did.

No, nothing in this thread.

I got about halfway through a reddit post that suddenly veered from episode 6 to "and here's what we know from the episode 7 script leaks..."

Hey Kit, what would you do if you had renowned fame from an acting career?

It's very possible he's actually dead in the books but in the show, other than some deformaties on his face, there's no really nothing to suggest he's actually a complete zombie. I think he's partially brain dead but not completely.

theyd both die

i wouldnt mind Beric fighting the Mountain (fulfilling his duty to Ned from book/season 1), dying, and the Hound using the flaming sword to to kill the Mountain (but dying n the process)

Nah, we've entered the "fantasy" portion of the GoT story.

With maybe 1-2 exceptions, I think we'll see almost the entire cast make it to the end.

Yeah, they are keeping everybody.

More should have died this past week. But plot armor.

Dungeons & Dragons: attacks and abilities of a White (Wight?) Dragon

Of course 2Fat was/is a notorious RPG fan, and while he may not have followed the D&D rules for the Chromatic Dragons re: Dany's, he may have done so with Wight (White) Viserion, as it just...fits.
His own "Ice Dragon" is a totally different species and probably N/A here.

So, as to WV breath weapon,
Survey says...

quote:

Cold Breath (Recharge 5-6): The dragon exhales an icy blast in a 60-foot cone. Each creature in that area must make a DC 19 Constitutionsaving throw, taking 54 (12d8) cold damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

why did Sansa send brienne when Jon and his group of northern men were already going? Why not leave brienne at winterfell?

1) Cersei apparently specifically requested Sansa (Cersei could know through Jaime that Jon is on Dragonstone if Tyrion chose to tell him).
2) Brienne would be an acceptable person to represent her due to Jaime.

Although it does have me concerned what Cersei will do to Brienne if she senses her and Jaime's closeness. I can't imagine anything good.

I don't think Cersei has anything good planned for anyone involved, but I doubt anything goes down this episode. I think this is going to be a "meet and greet", a more catty version of what we got with the guys going north of the Wall. Think Hound and Tormund but a lot more estrogen

So Dany makes a show of force with her troops, but I don't think that is the way to get a point across to Cersei. She bristles at threats. I wonder how they approach her... afterall, this isn't "surrender or die", it's "let's negotiate a truce that serves all our interests". Cersei and Jaime have to be offered something.

I heard something about this episode, it was cryptic and I'm not going to bring it up in detail. I think it was a spoiler, but haven't checked into it, it might have been just a really weird guess. But I will say: I haven't seen anyone on this board bring anything similar to it up, and it does ultimately seem like it serves the purpose of convincing the Lannisters. If it's the case, a lot of people will be surprised about the twist.
