Its probably as simple as littlefinger told her to rely on brienne to resolve the problem with arya. So Sansa did the opposite that LF wanted her to.

Episode titles like this tend to have multiple meanings (see: The Gift).

I was disappointed with how this episode had nothing to do with the geographic region of Westeros known as The Gift.

I was expecting it to be Arya giving somebody the 'gift.'

I could see something like Cersei killing Brienne causing the rift that leads Jamie to fulfilling the prophecy. It would be more of a sudden change in their relationship than the books but with the amount a time left its one of the few things left that could cause him to do it.

Also the blonde musician who posted the pic earlier in the year saying he may or may not have just made a GOT cameo. Has he showed up yet? Not Ed, this guy has long Blonde hair

During war, is a guy loaded down with birdcages supposed to just waltz through enemy lines over hundreds of leagues and return the birds no problem?

Sam's entire job during Jeor Mormont's great ranging was to tend the ravens. Since they had no easy way of restocking he made sure to bring plenty.

During conventional (no air support) war it is considered extremely unwise to outpace your supply lines, so typically I'd say that in addition to food and other necessities they likely brought more birds to maintain communications. No one is going to try and cross enemy lines.

Have an upvote. I thought we were supposed to hate him more than Ramsey in this season.

The books said something along the lines of even though he was the runt he grew the fastest out of all of them

This thread definitely seems to be dragging a little bit this week. I think even those of us who are not spoiled are afraid to post theories, even crackpot ones, for fear of either being accused of dropping spoilers or for fear that somebody who is spoiled will comment on the theory one way or the other.

I'm gonna break down and post mine. It is so unlikely to happen (I'd put it at about 99.99999999% of not happening) that if it somehow does, it will be worth being ostracized. Here it is:

Septon Unella is still alive in the dungeons. At the moment when Cersei is on the cusp of pulling off some deranged plan and doing away with all of her foes, Unella breaks out of her dungeon, dispatches the Ser Robert Strong, bitchslaps Cersei into the grasp of the wight with fatal results and saves the day.

Oh, and then Unella pours some wine on Cersei's corpse and she and Brienne make out on the floor of the dragonpit.

How's that for some fanfic?

I think we decided in the last thread that the math doesn't work out because Westeros is the size of a continent and not the size of the UK.

Maybe she puts Brienne up against The Mountain thus ruining EVERYONE's anticipation of the Clegane Bowl

well that's just silly. I'm going to stick with my plan from last week that didn't happen. Jon and Dany are gonna have sex this episode. Then the boat will take them to Winterfell. He announces to everybody that he wants to marry her, not a lot of happy people at Winterfell except for me. I guess then everybody but Sansa, LF, Arya and Brann go to Kingslanding. I think that whole thing is one sketchy set up by Cersei. I'm hoping Dany isn't there, but instead will be ready to swoop in on Drogon if things start going wrong in the pit. Back at Winterfell, I think Sansa is going to ask Bran to tell her something about LF and she will ask Arya to help her kill LF. Arya can take LF's face and take over the knights of the Vale or hand it back over to Robin or that other big guy (Royce?)
The wall needs to come down this episode too. I think that will be the big cliffhanger going into next season. If any of this is correct, don't tell me. just delete it, I don't want to know what is/isn't right.

what is the name of the guys who do the episode reviews where they are extremely sarcastic and hate everything in the episode? They act a lot like the posters in these threads.
