My grandmother who helped raise me passed away this weekend and we had her funeral today. Just saw this trailer was released and it’s such a mood lifter, and I haven’t even watched it yet

She is going to be the one with the key kill of Cersei.
Jamie is going to kill Cersei.
He is going to realize that the old ways of ruling the world need to stop, the wheel needs to stop as Dany says. He will come to believe in Dany's vision for the world and he knows people like Cersei will need to be rid of this earth to start over. He's obviously pretty pissed about her lying about saying she'd help fight. He's always been a man of honor, and will have more respect for Jon/Dany's honesty and honor than Cersei.

What exactly do you mean he’s dead? I’m missing something...
He claimed in some episode he is not Bran any longer and now the three eyed raven.
He gave you that feel as well, up to the last episode with Littlefinger. There seems to be some Bran left maybe.

I think he just states he has evolved and is more than Bran. He is the 3 eyed raven.
In his mind he's probably lived through 100s of years with his visions where as in reality he was only bran for ~12 years?
He still remembers his life before and cares a little but knows there are much important things. He's basically a god now. Small things like his memories from being a child and falling out of a window are irrelevant to him now.

the way out of this, of course, is that Dany bonded with all 3. They all climbed on her like kittens, because she hatched all 3.
Drogon is her steed because he's the alpha, but I think she could ride any.
While the TV version can pull that off, the book (lulz) will have to follow Valyrian Lore. No rider has ever ridden two dragons.
Has any rider hatched 3 dragons from petrified eggs turned to stone, in a fire that should have killed him/her, other than Dany? Or done similar? Serious question about that.
I get the sense that rules don't necessarily apply to her, as they did in the past.
And anyway, this probably isn't relevant.
looking at the pic,
Jon and Rhaegal on left, Dany and Drogon on right

Man, this sure looks like Brienne is sacrificing herself in one last charge to save Jaime.

I don't know... you have 100K+ that just came through the Wall bearing down on Winterfell, and you have probably another 50K in total dead from Stannis' army/battle of the bastards/Greyjoy invasion.
Yeah, but wasn't the Battle of the Bastards on almost the exact same patch of land? Didn't see any dead Baratheon army there. With that said... wight Stannis.
As for Arya running, is anyone expect Jaqen to show back up?

Makes me wonder if the Night King brings back all the dead Starks out of the crypts
This is a running rumor.
I just learned something - The iron of the sword keeps them locked in their tomb.

What good would raising dead Starks do to those of us who didn't read the books? Cat was thrown into the river and we haven't seen Ned's body since it was given to Cat by LF. Are we really supposed to believe it somehow made it's way back?
Readers may recognize some of the dead Starks as something important, but the rest have only been mentioned in passing through 7 seasons.

Oh yeah. Need to go watch the battle of Helm's Deep to get pumped.

FYI those soldiers behind Brienne and Pod are not The Knights of the Vale. They are wearing a new sigil. One of wolf and dragon. Totally missed that.

It’s not a body though. It’s just his bones

Cersei's prophecy:
quote:
1. "You'll never wed the prince, you'll wed the king."
Did it come true?
Yes. Cersei marries King Robert Baratheon and not "the prince" — Rhaegar Targaryen.
2. "You'll be queen, for a time. Then comes another, younger, more beautiful, to cast you down and take all you hold dear."
Did it come true?
Yes, though the younger, more beautiful queen had been questioned. Margaery came to mind first as the young queen who was married to King Tommen, but now that she's dead, it's assuredly Daenerys Targaryen, the queen we are all hoping brings about the end of the Lannisters.
3. "The king will have 20 children and you will have three. Gold will be their crowns . . . gold their shrouds."
Did it come true?
Yes. The king did have multiple illegitimate children without the help of Cersei, while Cersei bears just three: Joffrey, Myrcella, and Tommen — all three of whom have died. Joffrey and Myrcella are both poisoned, by Lady Olenna Tyrell and Ellaria Sand, respectively. Tommen tragically commits suicide by throwing himself out a window after he sees that Cersei has murdered his love, Margaery Tyrell. Now that Cersei is pregnant, a fourth child would contradict the prophecy, which has a lot of people believing that she will either die before her child is born, miscarry, or that she's not even pregnant at all.
What's Next?
But wait, there is one more piece to the prophecy in George R.R. Martin's books that did not make it into that scene in the show. The witch also tells Cersei: "And when your tears have drowned you, the Valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." "Valonqar" means "little brother" in Valyrian — and if we are taking that literally, that means Tyrion . . . or Jaime, who is her twin but could technically be her "little brother." (That really makes the incest somehow even grosser, right?) And it's theorized that her killer could be someone else entirely.

The show is way past the books at this point.

I'm choosing not to watch any trailers.

There is way more inference in this thread than there is anything of real value in the trailer. People are just excited.

Ned's head was separated from his body, so that's one less good guy turned undead we have to worry about. Now Geoffrey or Tommen is a different story.
