I haven't read the books, but a reader can chime in- I don't think dragons let just anyone approach them, just because they happen to be on their master's side.

Yep. Pair bonding is a big thing. Which is why its important to know what Dragon Jon eventually rides.
If he is somehow on Drogon at any point. Something bad happened to Dany imo.

That actually makes a lot of sense.
Remember Rob did this to Jamie who then took that same concept and schooled Dany on it.
The only reason to not roll with this - Bran.
He is supposed to see all and if he missed 50,000 dead going South, he was not ready.
So Winterfell is going to get hit hard, regardless of whether the Knight King flies off South. And the Weirwood trees are up North, so Bran's at his strongest there. That's where he has to make HIS stand.
Then, there's plenty of dead in and around Riverrun for NK to mount a Southern army, and move against KL and the Golden Company, ... or surround the North.
Question- no Doth Raki in this trailer???

Drogon is her steed because he's the alpha, but I think she could ride any.

It could be, but if you remember in the show, when Brian saw the Children of the Forrest making the OG NK, he had blonde hair. I have never heard of a Stark having blonde hair and blue eyes.

While the TV version can pull that off, the book (lulz) will have to follow Valyrian Lore. No rider has ever ridden two dragons.

I want to know what sort of magic is in Winterfell. Brandon the Builder definitely put some form of magic in Winterfell that weakens the NK.
Which is why I want to know what Arya was running from in what looked like the crypts of Winterfell.

I think with Ned’s kids it was a Tully thing. But I’m pretty sure I’ve heard of red headed Starks.

I don't think this is half baked at all
I don't think Cersei and the Starks ever clash again. Would make sense for the NK and his army to wipe out Cersei, the Golden Company, and Greyjoys. Cersei's hubris catches up with her fatally.
