Honestly, after waiting two years, I wanted 90 minute episodes.

God damn bastards. Every year it’s the same thing: “oh this year every episode is gonna be nearly the length of a feature film, that’s why the season is shorter.” And every god damned year, the run times are basically the same as always.

everyone was saying, oh its 6 episodes, but, but they will all be 90 mins. so it makes sense why it took them 2 years

Agreed. Zero chance. We are in the second halcyon era of GOT TV fandom. The possibilities are endless. To be fair, the speculation is a big part of the fun.
Besides, Im just trying to prepare my anus for the immediate death of Arya/Hound (my 2 favorite characters). They are gonna kill someone beloved immediately.

This was never promised HBO or anyone involved with the show. These were always just internet rumors based on nothing.

I wanted feature length episodes. But to be fair, if they were all 90 minutes, there would be a lot of filler akin to Ser Davos learning how to read and Sam at the Citadel (aka crap I don't want to see).
Didn't Peter Dinklage already release the run times months ago?

Each episode will most likely have a 2-3 min recap at the beginning with an early end time for another 2-3 min credit scene at the end

This also means they’re going to rush a lot of story lines which was one of the main problems of last season.
