Well I guess they address that by the fact that she has darker hair vs red hair like the tullys. I still <3 Arya.

Speaking of hair. I think they should have made King Robert's hair much darker. It is a very discernible and important trait of the Baratheon line. That aspect seems to have been just left out.

Yeah I agree.

And Tyrion should have blonder hair...his hair is too reddish.

Not necessarily true. People get over and not just through those tunnels. You seem to have read some of the books. You should know that lol

Granted I'm only 20% into book two, but the only people I've seen crossing the wall have done so through the mountain range to the West of the wall. Unless I'm mistaken the only people who have been revealed so far are the ones who attacked Bran in the forest.

I thought it was the Milkwater that was West of the Wall? There are mountains over there but the Wall is bordered on the east by the Milkwater.

You'll learn much more about all of that at the beginning of Storm of Swords

The Other attack was underwhelming as far as how much nothing stops them but fire, but it would have needed some animatronics.

what else did it need? i thought it was effective

Well it was a lot quicker than the book portrayed it. Not saying it was bad, but maybe that is what he meant.

yeah in the book the zombie thing broke a guards neck and when Snow found him his head was twisted a full 180 degrees. I kept expecting them to show that. plus mormont was being attacked in the story as well. still a good scene though that's just the things that were missing from the book.

Just watched the new episode, honestly I was expecting it to be better but it was still good. I'm assuming he told the spy that info so he can turnaround and do the opposite. How in the hell does a man with a stick and no armor, defeat a half dozen men with swords and full armor? I wonder if Arya reunites with her Direwolf? Can't wait for the other episodes.

He was the first sword of Bravos.

In other words, he's a baaaaaaaad man.

Plus Ghost helped Jon get free from the walker. I wish they would have made the eyes glow blue. Still this show has exceeded my expectations.

I honestly don't remember. I just know if anyone is getting over the wall, then other people can do the same.

Not true.

There are ways around at the ends of the wall where it meets the water.

The hand continuing to attack even after being cut off was the main thing I felt missing. With that, the book conveyed even cutting them limb from limb would just make the fight harder, while in the show it looked like a viable option to ease the fight pre-fire. Just something that would have added to the fear of the Others that should be there.

Loving this damn series though. And having finally finished book 1, knowing what is coming in these next two episodes,
