3 worth a watch.
4 is a step down.

Neither is close to seasons 1, 2 or 5 so far.

That was the less obvious one. “Drinking coffee in the one house I know he ain’t at” was a little less subtle.

The thing I see is that Temple and Leigh should totally 100 percent wind up as allies. They may not totally agree about their outlook on life, but they are certainly kindred spirits.

It looks like the female cop had this same idea in this week’s episode….

If for no other reason that Ham has clearly made himself Leigh’s enemy, and it appears that she doesn’t take too kindly to that.

One small think I noticed that bothered me in the episode. When she called “Vivian” in the strip club at the end, it appeared to be on the lawyers phone. During the call,
She pointed out that the beep was his son calling to let him know he was kicked out of Notre Dame - but why would the son call the lawyer’s phone (unless I was confused,
And it was Vivian’s phone beeping?)

The debt collection calls from the very beginning said where this was going.

Juno Temple and Jon Hamm are really entertaining in their roles.
As is Jennifer Jason Leigh as the rich conniving matriarch.

It will probably wind up being my favorite of the series.

One minor issue is that the cop's loser husband apparently has always been a massive, massive douche, and I don't see how it'd be feasible for them to date for a significant amount of time, much less get married. She seems like a sweet, level-headed, woman who is physically attractive. I know that that happens all the times in film, but its kind of over-the-top here.

After that last scene of the last episode, I am straight up chomping at the bit to see the next one. Loraine finna EAT. JJL has made me laugh very loud this season.
